Vi inviterer dig til at være med på en særlig kulturtur. Det inkluderer et besøg på de mest værdsatte og berømte slotte i Rumænien, Peles Slot og Bran Slot (Draculas Slot). Sidste del af dagen vil tage os til Rasnov fæstning eller til Poiana Brasov. Og fordi vi godt kan lide at være fleksible, foreslår vi, at du selv vælger sidste stop. Så hvis du brænder for historie og ikke vil gå glip af Rasnov-fæstningen, kan du vælge at besøge den. Alternativt kan vi tage til Poiana Brasov, for en hyggelig gåtur i det mest berømte bjergresort i Rumænien. Så hvis du har besluttet dig for at besøge Transsylvanien og opdage dets historie, er du på det rigtige sted. Denne tur er velegnet til både private grupper og uafhængige rejsende. Så du kan komme med dine venner og familie. Børn vil helt sikkert også nyde at besøge disse steder.

Det første stop vi gør er ved Peles Slot. Det betragtes som det vigtigste historiske (tysk-prægede) arkitektoniske ensemble i Rumænien. På grund af dets historiske og kunstneriske værdi er det stadig et af de vigtigste og smukkeste monumenter i Europa og en af de mest besøgte turistattraktioner i Rumænien (2. pladsen efter Bran Slot). Slottet vil helt sikkert imponere dig ved dets overdådighed, ved det faktum, at det har 160 værelser, og at det på sin tid var fuldt elektrificeret. Det havde også en elevator og et bevægeligt glasloft, som åbnede efter behov. Kongen plejede at imponere sine gæster ved at vise dem den stjerneklare sommernattehimmel.
Næste stop: Draculas slot, der angiveligt skal være grev Draculas residens Du vil ikke fortryde et øjeblik, hvis du vælger at besøge dette slot, især da det ligger ret tæt på Brasov. Du vil simpelthen blive fortryllet af slottets skønhed og især af beliggenheden og omgivelserne. Så jeg inviterer dig til at lade dig rive med af historie og kultur, og du vil forlade hjemmet med en ekstraordinær positiv ladning af din sjæl. Bran Castle er gennemsyret af historie. Grev Draculas karakter optræder første gang i romanen "Dracula", skrevet af den irske forfatter Bram Stoker og udgivet i 1897 i England. Oprindeligt er navnet Dracula slet ikke skræmmende. Det stammer fra navnet på en korsfarerorden, Drageordenen, som både Vlad Spidderen og hans far Vlad Dracul (medlem af denne orden) var forbundet med.
Det sidste stop er dit valg: Rasnov-fæstningen eller Poiana Brasov Râșnov fæstning er en af de smukkeste fæstninger i det rumænske land. Den er blevet udvalgt af mange instruktører til optagelser i forskellige epoker, en af de vigtigste film optaget her er Cold Mountain, den Oscar-vindende film med Nicole Kidman i hovedrollen. Denne klippetop er blevet forsvaret siden dacernes tid for mere end to tusinde år siden, som nyere arkæologiske opdagelser beviser. På et tidspunkt, hvor Bran Slot endnu ikke var bygget, var Rasnov et vigtigt punkt for handel og beskatning af købmænd af kongedømmet. Herfra kan du se højdedragene i Bucegi, Postăvaru-massivet og Piatra Craiului. Du kan også se næsten hele byen Râșnov, en kombination af rumænsk og saksisk kultur, beliggende i 650 m højde.
Poiana Brasov er det mest eftertragtede og populære bjergresort i hele landet. Her samles vinter efter vinter tusindvis af turister, der brænder for vintersport som skiløb og snowboarding. Poiana Brasov ligner en lille by med luksuriøse hoteller og gode restauranter og falder i smak hos alle dem, der vælger at tilbringe et par dage her. I de senere år er der dukket nye og moderne steder op, hvilket øger turisternes komfort og tilfredshed. Der er bygget hoteller og pensionater, turisthytter, en kirke, en skøjtebane, en zoologisk have, en swimmingpool, sportspladser, gymnastiksale, pister udstyret med kunstig sne og natfaciliteter, skilifte, stolelifte, svævebaner. En gåtur i Poiana Brasov kan være lige, hvad du har brug for efter en dag fuld af historie. Det er dit valg!

Friendly, chilled and informative guide. Provided options and flexibility when attractions were closed, which meant we had the opportunity to get into the mountain villages for amazing landscape views. Lovely experience and a great trip around the Brasov region.

To anyone not sure whether they should spend the extra money on a private tour, I would say absolutely yes! Dinu, our guide was absolutely fantastic. We arrived to Brasov by train from Budapest and had to leave again for a very specific train to continue to Bucharest that night. He monitored our train's progress and was there to greet us at the station as we arrived and he made sure that we were back in time for our evening train too. At every step, he was happy to customise our tour to our liking including taking us to a couple of food spots to try out some traditional dishes. The tour has quite a bit of driving, but there was never an awkward moment between him telling us about the history of Romania and the castles, answering our questions and just sharing stories from our lives. He offered to take lots of pictures of us and patiently waited (and joined!) when we wanted to say hi to the local cats 😅 Dinu made sure that our tour was a memory that will last forever and we wish him all the best.

I spent three wonderful days traveling with Ramona and Radu, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Each day was thoughtfully planned and completely different, showcasing a wide range of sites and experiences. On the first day, we visited the fortified churches of Prejmer and Hărman, followed by time in Poiana Brașov. It was a perfect introduction to the region’s history and scenery. The second day took us off the beaten path to the Vâltorile de la Lisa (Lisa Whirlpools), the Moara cu Noroc de la Ohaba (Lucky Ohaba Mill), and the impressive Făgăraș Fortress. This day was especially memorable for its mix of local traditions and medieval history. On the third day, we explored some of Romania’s most beautiful castles: Peleș, Pelișor, and Cantacuzino, each with its own unique character and story. Ramona and Radu were fantastic throughout the entire trip. Ramona was wonderful to work with during the planning process. She listened carefully to what I wanted to see, communicated openly, and helped create an itinerary that felt personal and well‑balanced. The pricing was fair, and there were no surprises. Both Ramona and Radu were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend traveling with Day Trips Brasov!

Our guide Ramona was perfect from start to finish. She speaks great English, and is very clear and easy to understand. Ramona was fantastic. She did everything she could to ensure we had a great experience. We were first in to Peles Castle and therefore could experience with minimum disruption from crowds infront of us. This did mean going through at a pace but still enough time to listen and view it all. The Citadel was not available so she offered an alternative experience and offered advice on best ways to maximise time and money. She was knowledgeable on the history of the area and shared this with passion. Her vehicle was comfortable and clean.

What a legend! Dinu, our tour guide, was not only super knowledgeable but also hilarious and so much fun to hang out with. He has this way of making history and culture feel exciting instead of boring, and he sprinkled in just the right amount of jokes and stories to keep us entertained the whole time. Honestly, it felt like exploring with a really smart friend who knows all the secret spots. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered every random question we threw at him, and somehow managed to make the whole group laugh and learn at the same time. Definitely the highlight of our trip! Now here’s the twist—we didn’t even want to leave this review. Not because he wasn’t amazing (he totally was), but because he’s our little secret and we don’t want anyone stealing him from us. But he insisted we write something, so fine… here it is. I hope he is not booked by somebody else when we come back 😂!
