Vi inviterer dig til at opleve denne store by. En historisk by med sin europæiske eklektiske og franske nyklassiske arkitekturstil i mange forskellige dele af byen. Men på samme tid vil vi rejse til fremtiden og køre ind i det højøkonomiske Barrio (kvarter), hvor vi kunne sætte pris på bygning og huse med en meget flot og moderne arkitektur Vi vil vise og fortælle dig historien om Santiago-stiftelsen nøjagtigt på den mest emblematiske bakke i Santiago, Santa Lucia Hill. Vi går gennem finansgaden, den mest travle gågade, "PASEO AHUMADA", præsidentpaladset, Plaza de Armas, katedralen, den tidligere nationale kongres, det centrale marked, museer som Pablo Neruda, Precolombian, barrio Bellavista osv. Vi vil slentre på ethvert hyggeligt håndværksmarked, cafébutik, postkontor, restauranter og ethvert sted, kun efter dine BEHOV. Dem, hvis der ønskede at få frokost, vil vi stoppe i enhver restaurant efter hvad du kan lide.

Fra dit hotel tager vi direkte til Santa Lucia Hill for at forklare dig, hvordan byen Santiago blev grundlagt for over 400 år siden af spanierne og selvfølgelig historien om.
Så vil vi gå og se den berømte Plaza de Armas, hvor alt foregår... og vi vil tale om Santiagos liv. Derefter vil vi se og tale om forskellige bygninger omkring såsom rådhuset, det historiske og naturlige museum, postkontoret og Santiago-katedralen.
Så kunne vi stoppe til frokost... men hvis du ikke har lyst.. kunne vi besøge de rigtige menneskers virkelige liv på byens største frugt- og grøntmarked... det berømte "LA VEGA CENTRAL" hvor vi vil se de mest populære lokale frugter og grøntsager. Vi kunne også få en lækker chilensk stil "EMPANADAS" fra en lokal empanada butik.
Derefter vil vi køre og gå forbi Barrio Civico, hvor vi vil se og tale om forskellige og interessante kommercielle og offentlige bygninger såsom aktiemarkedet, Intendencia, La Moneda House, Central Bank, Supreme Courthouse, etc.,
Efter det historiske og lokale markedsområde... vil vi slentre forbi det moderne område i Santiago, såsom Barrio Sanhattan, Barrio El Golf, Las Condes og Providencia.
Derefter vil vi afslutte vores tur ved et interessant område i SAntiago, hvor er Vitacura i en Santiago "Rodeo Drive"

Our guide was very knowledgable and passionate on explaining the history of the city, it's culture and people. We went to the city park, downtown, cable car, Neruda museum and finally at El Galeon, the seafood restaurant before flying back home. The guide planned the trip meticulously so we could spend sufficient time at each locations.
The tour guide did a great job showing us the highlights of Santiago.
Hector was wonderful. Met us a bit later as our flight was late, then we went to the city centre. We visited many of the buildings and areas of interest. He was very aware of our need for walking no more than 30mins and worked the tour so we missed nothing. Great day

We used HecTour for a day trip in Santiago, Chile and a day trip to the wine region of Casablanca to the west of Santiago. I would highly recommend this company. The driver/guide was very punctual, professional and a very good driver. He guided us around the various historical areas of Santiago explaining in very good english, the history and significance of the different sites. He tailored the sites and itinerary according to what we wanted to see, we appreciated the flexibility . He selected 3 vineyards each quite different specializing in slightly different products. I would not hesitate using their services again in the future.
We did a six hour city tour in Santiago with Carol as our guide. The tour was very well organised, Carol is very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the history of Chile and Santiago

What was to be a half-day tour turned into a full day tour on our way back to the airport. HecTour was very flexible and in tune with what type of things we would like to see. The tour was custom made for us. Our luggage was safe in the Mercedes van. Our guide's English was perfect. We learned about Santiago's history from current day to the past. Stopping at many points of interest. We enjoyed walking around Cerro Santa Lucia as well as many other places. Not only did we learn some history, but we learned about and experienced some of the culture as well. Communication prior to the trip was excellent and timely. Communication during our stay was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
