It was an amazing experience! We saw a lot of wild animals and learned so much, i will never forget this tour! Thushara was super nice and treated us like old friends! We had a lot of fun together, he was open to our wishes and shared a lot of his knowledge and experience with us, so we had the chance to learn about some local stuff. I would totally recommend it!
We had a wonderful time on the Bentota River. The whole trip was relaxing, well organised and very enjoyable for our family. We saw monkeys, different birds, monitor lizards and even crocodiles along the river. Thushara was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. He made sure the children were interested and comfortable throughout the trip. The mangroves and peaceful scenery were beautiful, and it was a great way to experience the natural side of Sri Lanka. We would definitely recommend HID Bentota River Trip to anyone visiting Bentota, especially families. A memorable experience from our holiday!

It was a fantastic river safari and showed us a completely different side of Sri Lanka. We saw many amazing animals and were able to take some great photos. It was especially special that we had the boat all to ourselves. Thushara organized everything perfectly – 100% reliable and very friendly. We had the pleasure of taking a river safari with Thushara during our visit to Sri Lanka, and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Thushara took us on a fantastic boat tour through the river, where we were lucky enough to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including many different species of birds, bats, monitor lizards, crocodiles, and even monkeys that we were able to feed. His knowledge of the local area, wildlife, and ecosystem was outstanding, and he was happy to answer all of our questions throughout the trip. What made the experience even more special was Thushara himself. He was friendly, welcoming, professional, and very easy to get along with. His passion for the area really shines through and made the tour both educational and enjoyable. We had a fantastic family experience on the Bentota River trip in April 2026. The trip was very enjoyable, relaxing, and well organised from start to finish. The scenery along the river was beautiful, with mangroves, wildlife, and a very peaceful atmosphere. The guide was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and made the trip interesting for both adults and children. We felt safe throughout the journey, and the whole experience was a great way to see a different side of wildlife, especially for children. I would definitely recommend this trip to families visiting Bentota. It was one of the most memorable parts of our holiday.
