Alsace er hjemsted for ikke mindre end 51 Grand Cru terroirs, hvor kun de fire mest prestigefyldte druesorter i regionen (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris og Muscat) dyrkes, med undtagelse af Sylvaner. Navnene på disse terroirs er ofte mystiske, og vinproducenterne vil være glade for at forklare deres betydning og unikke for dig. Disse terroirs repræsenterer toppen af Alsace's vinmarker, med Grand Crus placeret langs hele Alsace vinruten, altid på bakker med optimal eksponering. Under dit besøg i vinproducenterne, vil du have mulighed for at smage de forskellige druesorter fra Grand Cru bakkerne, og nogle gange endda den samme druesort fra flere Grand Cru parcel. Vinproducenterne vil introducere dig til de vine, der er stoltheden af deres ejendomme og vil glæde dine smagsløg. Disse vine prale af uovertruffen elegance og enestående aromatiske rigdom, hentet direkte fra jorden, hvor vinstokkene er plantet.

Allerede i 1648 begyndte familien Wach at arbejde som vinproducenter. Fra 1780 diversificerede vinproduktionen virksomhedernes aktiviteter. Siden 1888 har erhvervet Alsatian vinproducent været et fuldtidsjob. Vi er bekymrede for at bevare kulturarven i vores region, og vi er forpligtet til en biologisk tilgang. Hver Grand Cru - Moenchberg, Wiebelsberg, Kastelberg - sælges efter mindst 3 års flaskealdring. Dette gør det muligt at harmonisere de forskellige elementer i vinen. Med andre ord, det er en raffineringsproces, ligesom en ostemaskine.
Familien Hering har produceret vin i Barr, den vinproducerende hovedstad i Nedre Rhinen, siden 1858. Vinmarkerne er beliggende i kommunen Barr, i hjertet af Voges-bjergene. De dækker mere end 10 hektar og dyrkes med respekt for miljøet, for alles velfærd. Kirchberg de Barr var en af de 25 Grands Crus, der nu udgør en del af historien om Alsatian terroir vine, sammen med 26 andre Grands Crus.

Domaine Céline METZ er den nye generation og fortsættelsen af Domaine Hubert METZ. Som den 11. generation i ejendommens historie, er vi heldige at være i stand til at dyrke 10 hektar vinmarker, herunder 2 i Winzenberg Grand Cru (granit), og at lave vin i en familie kælder dateret tilbage til 1728.

We loved our private tour of three vineyards in Alsace! It was an experience that was both informative, interesting, and wonderfully diverse. A huge thank you to our guide, Jean, who was incredibly generous and extremely attentive to all our needs throughout the day. In addition to having us taste excellent wines, he even took the time to create a beautiful photo montage of our day as a keepsake. Really "wow"! I highly recommend this tour 100%. An unforgettable experience!

My two days touring Alsace's historic villages and wine estates with Jean were nothing short of perfect. What a great day this was! Our driver Jean was very personable, very professional, passionate and very knowledgeable about Alsace wines. Communication was very good before and during the tour. Arranged three very good wineries to visit where the vignerons were very giving of their wines and knowledge. Learnt so much!

Incredible experience! This was an exceptional tour of the region with amazing wine visits and Jean was accommodating with every request. We were picked up right by our hotel. The van was stocked with everything you could want- blankets (February), water, snacks, umbrellas. Jean answered our endless questions with knowledge and passion. He took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable all day. We had three wine tastings that we would not have been able to find on our own and our lunch stop was at a local restaurant which was authentic and delicious. Would book this tour again in a second!
