Et perfekt alternativ til folk, der finder Samaria for tidligt eller for langt. En god balance mellem vandring og gåture. Selv børn elsker denne eventyrlige vandretur. I 2000 opdagede vi, Eye Travel, en kløft nær Hersonissos og begyndte at organisere ture gennem denne kløft guidet af en af Eye Travel-teamet. Denne slugt er omkring 8 km lang, tager omkring 3,5 timer og har nogle forhindringer på vej ned. Du vil se uberørt natur, nogle rovfugle, gribbe,... Den ægte kretensiske flora og fauna. Du kan reservere denne tur udelukkende hos os, Eye Travel. Se nogle af billederne for at få et indtryk. Denne tur er et must, når du er på Kreta! Ægte natur. Klippeformation. Opdag dine egne grænser.

You definitely get away from civilization, which was really nice. The hike follows a riverbed and there is a lot of climbing over and around huge rocks. Balance is a must. Our guide, Louise, was awesome. She provided a running commentary about Cretan culture. We learned about growing and harvesting olives. She pointed out various plants and described their uses. We saw goats and vultures. The hike took about 3 hours. We would highly recommend this adventure!

The gorge hike with Louise was such great fun, an unforgettable experience where we learned so much about the culture, flora and fauna of Greece, it really was one of the highlights of our trip, so interesting and personalised to our needs. We had an excellent trip with our guide Luisa! It was approximately 3 hours long- we got collected promptly from our hotel and arrived at the beautiful gorge. The views and scenery were amazing- Luisa was a fantastic guide, always helpful, informative and full of energy. Would recommend doing this with proper shoes and for people who are not afraid to climb rocks! Would highly recommend. We were also accompanied by our dear friend/ dog named Oaty who made the trip even better :)

The hiking was really very nice, also the guide was very pleasant, and gave interesting information about the plants and history of Crete. We were also allowed to set the pace of the walk ourselves, so we could take pictures when we wanted. In short: a top excursion!

Luise, our guide, made the trip absolutely memorable. She was so well informed, taught us so much about nature, the gorge and Greek culture. And, had an infectious energy. The gorge was beautiful and really fun to hike- but she took the experience to new heights!! We adored her and this excursion!

This gorge is really a gorge walk (hiking). TOP no worn footpath where you can just walk. Here you really have to climb and descend with great nature. And our guide, Louise, was just a TOPPER. Knew a lot to tell and very cozy. This gap is (actually) a must to do once.

I booked this tour before arriving and was impressed with the response. Picked up on time, and only a small group of 5 plus guide, which made it more enjoyable. Guide took time to explain what we would be doing and at no point felt rushed and able to take things at our own pace. Lunch provided was very good and plentiful. Would recommend company and walk.
