Cassio was a really great guide. He was patient, spoke great English and highly knowledgable. We constructed a custom itinerary and he was very accommodating. We adjusted the plan on the fly based on weather conditions and this led to a really great tour. Cassio took us to all the places that are on everyone’s list and also helped by slipping the line at Sugar Loaf - using this tour, we didn’t have to buy separate slip the line tickets.
Amazing day trip. The Mauro is an excellent guide. Super attentive and friendly. Take to know the main places of Rio de Janeiro. Indicate to any Cover. Prepare to have fun and learn a lot about the history of the places. Thank you for everything!
Loved walking through the beautiful forest and seeing all the interesting sites. There are some beautiful waterfalls, and a nice cave, as well as a historic restaurant

Mauro was great. Knowledgeable and charming. Our day was cloudy, foggy and on and off rain but he made it fun. We found some pockets of sun and made it to the cable cars and up the Moutain. We had an incredible lunch by the pink Palace Hotel. A delightful day with Mauro.

One of the best points about this was that Mauro, the guide, was completely flexible about the itinerary - he was in contact with us beforehand to agree an outline itinerary and too us took us where we wanted to go; he could not have been more helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. There was also a driver as part of the package, and I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of this sort of tour that you do not go with just a single guide who is also the driver. The driver we had was very good in that he would drop us at the entrance to the various sites and then he and the guide would liaise as to pick up on completion at the various sites - this worked very well and saved a lot of time wasted in waiting around. They have worked together many times, and it showed; they made a very good team. It also meant that we could leave some items in the car as he was with them at all times. Mauro was extremely enthusiastic about his work - which really showed, and enriched the experience - and also had the valuable asset of making you feel as if you were in the driving seat with regard to pace of things. We never felt hurried or were left in any spot for too long. We learned a lot about the city as well as the various attractions we saw. I would unreservedly recommend Mauro and this particular tour to anyone. There was nothing in the tour that we did which we felt could have been left out, and in fact he made a couple of suggestions on the day which were included.

Not the first time I went to Rio but certainly the best! Mauro has a lot of knowledge and the passionate way he tells stories and anecdotes makes you want to know and know more! You can do it to your liking and that is very good, it gives you the freedom to know the Rio de Janeiro that you went to find and without the need to run from one place to the other. 100% recommended! I hope next time I can count on him to continue enjoying that beautiful city! Thank you Mauro, your love for Rio is contagious!

We toured alongside Mauro and the experience was definitely wonderful! We met places outside the traditional itineraries, as well as having all their knowledge and learned interesting things about Rio.
