På denne private tur vil du opdage Cataloniens smukke landskab på en fængslende vintur, hvor vi tager dig gennem vinmarkerne i Penedes, en region, der er almindeligt anerkendt for at være hjemsted for de mest moderne og innovative spanske avlere. Vi vil udforske tre af de vigtigste familieejede vingårde i landet og lære om den komplekse proces med at lave vin og cava (catalansk champagne). I hver kælder vil en vinekspert forklare deres individuelle unikke processer og uddanne os i, hvordan vi genkender deres forskellige varianter, og vi får privilegiet at smage vine og cavaer i hver. Ud over vingårde stopper vi ved frokosttid for at få et tre-retters måltid på en lokal restaurant. Denne private tur sikrer en personlig og bemærkelsesværdig oplevelse.

Start din dag med afhentning på dit hotel eller din lejlighed i Barcelona og tag afsted i et komfortabelt køretøj til Penedes-regionen, mindre end en time fra Barcelona. Længe betragtet som en af landets bedste vinproducerende regioner, er det også et af de ældste vindyrkningsområder i Europa. Penedes-regionen har produceret vin siden romertiden og sælger i dag mere end hundrede vingårde i mere end 380 millioner flasker. Først går du til en vingård med signaturvine på en ejendom på 40 hektar økologisk landbrug, hvor du kan mærke indflydelsen fra Middelhavets essens. Faktisk var det et mutatio (hvileområde) i romertiden, idet det var en del af Via Augusta. Fra begyndelsen af 1300-tallet og frem til i dag har den været i samme families hænder.
Fortsæt turen og besøg den første vingård i Penedes, der producerede økologisk vin til det danske marked. Fra begyndelsen af 1900-tallet har den samme familie drevet virksomheden og udnyttet 100 procent af deres marker til økologisk produktion med 15 forskellige druesorter.

Besøg endelig en vingård kendt for sine produkter af høj kvalitet. Denne vingård, der kan prale af økologisk landbrug med smuk udsigt over Montserrat-bjerget, har nogle af de ældste vinstokke. We have visited wine regions around the world with many guides. I can tell you that Felciano is the best guide we have ever had and the Penedes wine region cannot be missed. Felciano not only introduced us to three great wineries and some fantastic wines, but he also told us about the history of Catalonia and its people. This private tour was a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful wine region outside of Barcelona while traveling in comfort and conversing effortlessly with our wonderful guide Miguel. Miguel went out of his way to make this experience memorable for us. He was engaging, knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. Miguel’s passion for Catalan culture added to the enjoyment of the tour. He took every opportunity to customize the trip to our specific needs and interests. As a bonus, he has a photographers eye and often asked if he could take a photo of us with spectacular scenery as a backdrop, leaving us with nice mementos of the day. We learned much about the process and challenges of creating fine organic wine from the three wineries we visited. It was a wonderful day and we highly recommend this tour and tour company!

Very impressed with this tour. Our tour guide was Feliciano and from the second we met up with him he was absolutely phenomenal. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona and the wines all over the region. He gave us a lot of useful information about the area and places to have some good food and drinks. Feliciano was even so sweet he offered to take multiple photos of us for our memory. We ended up taking home 8 bottles of wine and local olive oil and honey. We went to three beautiful wineries out in the Penedes region and we were blown away by the beauty of it all. Our lunch was delicious and my boyfriend who is a picky eater loved it. They gave us plenty of options to choose from for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour because you will not be disappointed.
