Buenos Aires har en af de største jødiske samfund i verden, med 250.000 jøder både askenasi og sefardi. Denne tur begynder med en tur gennem de smalle gader i Once, byens mest traditionelle jødiske kvarter. Vi vil opdage det daglige liv i samfundet ved at udforske de vigtigste synagoger, en yiddish teater, kosher mad butikker, jødiske skoler og det klassiske område af "shmatte" forretning i Buenos Aires.
Rejsen fortsætter med at se den nye AMIA-bygning, det argentinske jødiske samfundscenter, hvis oprindelige bygning blev ødelagt af en terroristangreb i 1994, hvilket efterlod 85 ofre og flere sårede.
Derefter kører vi mod det imponerende Temple Libertad, den første synagoge bygget i Argentina og den mest symbolske. Vi besøger det jødiske museum, der står ved siden af det, der indeholder religiøse kunstværker, menorahs, Torahs og forskellige genstande bragt af jødiske indvandrere, da de ankom til Argentina.
På Plaza de la Shoa, som er omgivet af Palermos parker, besøger vi det nationale monument til ofrene for Holocaust.

Matías is knowledgeable, personable, flexible and reliable. He provides a great tour of Jewish Buenos Aires. As a historian and educator, he is a wealth of knowledge. He also arranges a great driver. He is a pleasure to spend time with and is highly recommended.
From the very beginning Matias was amazing! He was on time and picked us up at our hotel. The car we were in was clean and new with a very safe driver named Joel. Matias never overwhelmed us with facts instead he described the various sights we visited with stories that enlightened the whole experience. Walking around the lively Jewish neighborhoods gave us an immersive experience into a very vibrant and proud Argentinian Jewish community. By the end of our tour we felt like family, it was a unique and amazing tour that can’t be missed.
Matias was has a passion for the Jewish history of Argentina. He was able to teach us about the Jewish history and experience in Buenos Aires. We also learned about Argentinian history. We highly recommend this tour.

No need to look further. Book Matias for the Jewish Tour and the other tours that he offers. Beyond the glowing reviews already posted, I will add that Matias goes above and beyond, being helpful with things outside of is tours. We were a family group of 11, age 14-90. I was in touch w/Matias months before our trip and he was so patient and helpful, giving me advice on how best to organize our itinerary and maneuver our group through BA. As an example, he made arrangements at a known football watching locale for us to watch the Argentina v. Spain Finallisimo match in Dubai, that was cancelled days before. He then sought out tickets for us to watch Argentina v. Mauritania friendly scheduled in BA at the last minute. E. Matias
