The tour of the Museum with Abo was really good and worth the time and money. King Tut’s sarcophagus was the best part by far. It was truly amazing. The museum is over 100 years old and has tons of artifacts and several different galleries to visit.
mohamed salah was an amazing guide! took us to several museums & had a lot of knowledge about egyptian history. took us for lunch at this amazing restaurant! had an amazing time.
I did the private tour of The Pyramids with my Guide Ola and Driver Mohammed. They did a great job, on time pick up. Very informative. No pressure to go shopping afterwards which happens a lot. They gave me my distance and time to take photos. I recommend them.
Ms shima was a terrific guide and a great company. She is an expert at Egyptology and made the entire tour very informative and enjoyable.
Everything was excellent! The tour was really good. Adam did his best to explain us everything. Totally recommended :)
From pick up to drop off, everything went smoothly. Shima our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with us. She was awesome!
Beautiful! All very quaint and so special! The talented guide showed us all the secrets of the museum which is really a wonder! Thank you for the great experience
Adam was a super tour guide. He took care of me and my two women. He allowed us take breaks if we wanted to and answered all our questions. He was very. Knowledgeable and new his subject well. I found Adam to be friendly with a pleasant demeanour and would recommend him to anybody considering a tour.
I started my day with an awful and disappointing visit to the museum. Which was followed by an even worse visit to the Citadel and Coptic areas.... I’ll start by saying I contacted the tour company to add an afternoon tour to the museum. They suggested visiting these other places for.... 80 US DOLLARS. At the time I thought ok that’s expensive but it’s all day. It has to include food or something and it’ll be nice like my previous days visit (with a different company to the pyramids.) It was only after the museum that I realized they scheduled me a tour of a mosque on a Friday at midday. FYI they have prayer at noon on fridays for A. LONG. TIME!!! We sat outside in the wind and the dust for awhile. I am now sunburnt and wind beaten. Afterwards I was shown inside the mosques. They were beautiful but something was missing. The guide lacked some gusto or knowledge of history and all he talked about were columns and domes.... constantly. Columns and domes. I get it ok. Next. The real fun began. We went to the Coptic churches.... do not go to the Coptic churches with a guide who is new (he told me several times) who doesn’t know a thing about Christianity. Or maybe it was his English. I don’t know. It was bad. I asked him a question about the church looking like a mosque and I think he said something about a dome or a column. I did something bad when I got back to my hotel. I refused to pay the $80 and went to my room. The tour operator began to text me, I told him my complaints. And then no surprise.... he said well what about $60.... then $50. That’s when I knew that this tour was worth $15 or $10. Maybe. I’m not some rich American piggy bank. I worked and saved my money for months to come here. I find that the Egyptian people see tourists from the west as being rich and wealthy. In fact the tour guide told me that people in America are rich. Uh no. There’s a homelessness crisis in every city. I feel very taken advantage of and I encourage everyone to try and avoid using a guide. Although it seems like it might be difficult the way the Egyptian government had private vehicle checkpoints. Go to Greece. Much more tourist friendly.
We really enjoyed our tour and the guide was first rate - excellent English and very helpful. I will be recommending your company to friends in the future. had a magnificent time in Egypt! All of the tour guides were great and knowledgeable. I'd like to especially acknowledge Mohsen, the tour leader and Ahmed, the tour guide. They definitely took time to handle our interests. They were also accomodating and fun to be around. What a very good group of people! Egypt Sightseeing Tours is a company I will recommend to others in the next future.
