Beliggende i hjertet af Algarve udstråler den maleriske by Loulé en charme, der fanger essensen af Algarves landskab. Vi besøger Loulé kommunale marked, et af de bedste eksempler på den arabiske vækkelsesstil - Loulés gamle bydels gader med dets traditionelle huse, og hvor du vil se kobbermesteren arbejde med sin traditionelle kataplana og andre genstande, de lokale damer, der væver dværgpalme træer blade, sy og forbinde hver gren, hvilket producerer så mange forskellige genstande: tasker, barnesenge, kurve og mere traditionelle eller innovative genstande. - Den brostensbelagte traditionelle shoppinggade
Olhãos unikke arkitektur skaber et særligt bypanorama. Et af Olhãos mest ikoniske træk er dets netværk af huse i kubistisk stil. Disse kubistiske strukturer viser byens kunstneriske ånd og unikke tilgang til arkitektur. Første stop på vores tur er det kommunale marked. Beliggende langs havnefronten skiller denne bygning sig ud blandt de hvide huse med sine røde murstensvægge og grønne kupler. Der er to sektioner: en med frugt og grøntsager og lokale tørre produkter, og en anden udelukkende dedikeret til fisk og skaldyr, som muslinger, muslinger og østers. Vi går til byens centrum langs de traditionelle gader, hvor du vil finde traditionelle portugisiske bygninger med deres traditionelle fliser og jernbalkoner, og du vil også se de kubistiske huse.

Velkommen til Faro, hovedstaden i vores fantastiske Algarve-region! Vores tur tager dig med på en fængslende rejse gennem denne fortryllende by, kendt for sin historie, smukke landskaber og pulserende kultur. Vores første stop er i hjertet af Faro, den gamle bydel. Vi besøger katedralen i Faro, en gotisk religiøs struktur, der tilbyder et kig på fortiden og panoramaudsigt over byen fra klokketårnets tagterrasse. Da Faro også er hjemsted for den smukke Ria Formosa Naturpark, et beskyttet område med forskellige økosystemer, strandenge og en overflod af fuglearter, kan vi fra toppen af katedralen beundre den smukke udsigt. Vores tur vil derefter tage os til Arco da Vila, en af de gamle byindgange. Under vores besøg i Faro vil du have mulighed for at passere gennem de traditionelle shoppinggader og slentre gennem brostensbelagte gader.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days with Johnny. He arrived every morning at our hotel on time and always happy. He made sure we saw all the most important places but also allowed for us to customize our daily tours. As a local and having grown up in the Algarves,, Johnny's history is invaluable. We learned so very much. Whether you tour 1 day or 5 days, Johnny is who you need to tour with.

We had a fantastic private tour with João. Already the planning of the trip was a pleasure as João is very responsive, professional and truly gives everything for his guests. What a fabulous day Johnny lined for us! We chose a private tour due to our limited time in the Algarve region. We rate tours based on 1) communication, 2) itinerary, 3) information, 4) organization and 5) pricing. The communication was great. We were notified and reminded of the pick up time. Johnny asked what we wanted to do and see. He interjected several stops that proved to be interesting, so our itinerary included a visit to local artisans, including a coppersmith and a basket weaver. We visited the local markets in Loulé and in Olhão. The churches and cathedrals we visited were breathtaking! And all that time Johnny was explaining the history of, the customs, the traditions of each place. The pricing was agreed upon up front. At the end of the day, we felt we certainly got our money’s worth. To have a tour guide put so much enthusiasm and pride in the Algarve and Portugal made this tour very special and meaningful. Johnny Tours is one of the best company I have ever had the pleasure to tour with. Joao is very friendly, professional and kind. His transport is brand new and comfortable. Johnny organized a 23 person all day tour that took us to Loule , Tavira , the Quinta da Tor winery and a few other stops. It was very good value for our money , a good time was had by all and Johnny and his cohort Nelson are both affable and knowledgeable guides. We also had used Johnny’s tours to arrange transport for the majority of our group from Lisbon to the Rocha Brava resort and a smaller group transport from The resort to Seville, Spain I would highly recommend this company for any trips you’re considering
