Efter ca. en times rejse fra Firenze kommer du til Siena. - Internt besøg af Basilica di San Domenico, en af de smukkeste gotiske kirker i Siena, berømt først og fremmest fordi det er her bevaret hovedforbindelsen til Santa Caterina, skytshelgen i byen og medforfatter af Italien. - Besøg til fods af Piazza del Campo, et UNESCO-verdensarvssted siden 1995. Piazza del Campo er også stedet hvor hvert år, den 2. juli og den 16. august Palio, den mest berømte race af heste i verden. - Besøg udefra Duomo of Siena (Metropolitan Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta) med muligt internt besøg af Duomo (ikke inkluderet i prisen). - Gå i midten. At gå vild i gaderne er en af de smukkeste ting, der kan ske. Vandrer ubesværet gennem gaderne, gyder og pladser i UNESCOs historiske centrum, efter hvad der fra tid til anden antyder instinkt.
Efter ca. 25 minutter fra Siena kommer du til Monteriggioni. Det tager kun et par minutter at komme rundt Monteriggioni. Landsbyen er lille og med få gader. Indtrykket, der forbliver i hukommelsen, varer dog for evigt. Man bemærker, at han har opdaget et magisk sted, næsten et fortryllet slot som dem, der er kendt i eventyr, som børn

Our tour guide was fantastic. He gave us lots of background about the stops. Loved the tour. We were a little disappointed with the winery stop. Only after we finished lunch did the person at the winery tell us the price. And he quoted me 60 € each then the lady came back after I had paid and said it was 70. Had we known that ahead of time we would have gone somewhere else.

I personally select the winery based on availability for that specific day, always aiming to offer a great quality-to-price experience. The pricing, however, is managed directly by the winery, and I don’t set or handle those costs myself. Had I known there was any confusion, I would have clarified it with them immediately. It’s a pity the rating didn’t reflect the overall enjoyment of the tour, but I truly appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve coordination with our partners.
This was a highlight of our trip. Florian was so very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He accommodated a custom trip for us to the smaller more charming towns in Tuscany with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. He made sure to stop and take pictures in front of a town sign with my daughter’s name. We felt very pampered and taken care of and would highly recommend Florian for any trip in the area.

Florian is a wonderful guide. He pointed out different places and gave great background information. The Family owned Wine Cellar, Fattoria Sant’Appiano, was a highlight with delicous lunch and wine tasting in the cellar.
