A very enjoyable visit to San Sebastian and Getaria. We had a great guide in Matteo who is local and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area. We had good pinxtos and wine in a number of bars. It is however an expensive day out for a group of just two so probably best to consider a larger group to split the cost.

We were picked up right on time by our awesome tour guide Mateo! He was smiling from the time we met him, and he truly embodied the spirit of San Sebastian and the Basque hospitality throughout our entire time with him. He was full of knowledge about the region and its history, and he was extremely flexible with our needs with our two young children who came along for the trip. He knew all of the best places to eat for Pintxos and beyond, where to enjoy wine in the vineyards, and lots of other recommendations for the next time we come back! We wish we could’ve stayed longer, because we had such an enjoyable time on this tour. Matteo our private guide and the tour operator from start to finish was engaging, polite and knowledgeable. He was interesting and most interested in us having a wonderful experience. The tour of San Sebastián was marvellous the variety and quality of food was amazing. Try the local wine Txocolo! Getaria is a jewel!

A great trip - door to door with no hassle! Knowledgeable and very friendly guide - we were taken to great pincho places and had a lovely walking tour of San Sebastián plus the fishing village of Getaria. Would highly recommend!
