Lake Balaton er essensen af den ungarske landlige skønhed. Ungarns version af Provence. Du vil nyde fantastisk udsigt, små landsbyer med århundredgamle hvidvaskede huse og fantastiske naturformationer. Vi vil passere den smukt renoverede kloster af Tihany, som blev grundlagt for 1000 år siden. For 8 euro pr. person kan vi se på den luksuriøse barok interiør. Turen er fyldt med skønheder, interessant historie og (hvis du vælger at sende os en besked) meget god vin! Udsigten, den store gastronomi, de friske vine, charmen i landsbyerne og regionens historiske og arkitektoniske arv er alle gode grunde til at gøre en tur her. Vil du have en anden starttidspunkt? Det er muligt at starte turen hvor som helst mellem 06:00 og 11:00. Bare send os en besked efter booking, hvis du ønsker en anden starttidspunkt.

Denne tur er den smukkeste lige nu. Smukke forårsfarver, med masser af blomster, perfekt vejr. Første stop: Vi stopper ved et smukt, naturskønt sted ved Balatonsøen. Dette er normalt en kort 5 - 10 minutters stop. Den angivne 90 minutters tid omfatter også rejsetiden.
En uforglemmelig udsigt over Balatonsøen. Søen er smukkest i oktober, med fantastiske efterårsfarver, især på solrige dage.
Vi kører dig derefter til Balatonfüred for at se denne ædle by med mange palæer og en malerisk promenade. Det smukke centrum og de smukke villaer og palæer vil højst sandsynligt stjæle dit hjerte!
Går gaderne i den smukkeste landsby i Ungarn. Du kan også prøve regionens berømte produkter, såsom lavendel øl, lavendel limonade, lavendel chokolade, lavendel gelato....
Klostret blev grundlagt for næsten tusind år siden. Vi kan se på den smukt dekorerede barokkirke. også indefra, hvis vi køber en billet. (8 euro pr. person.) Dette giver os også mulighed for at se på udstillingen om klosterets historie.
På vej hjem tager vi færgen, der krydser søen.

Auti was right on time picking us up at our hotel. He was a great driver and told us interesting things about Hungary. We had a lovely lunch overlooking Lake Balaton in Tihanyi a beautiful village where lavender grows. The village was nice to walk around and the monastery was a beautiful sight as well. For those who want to briefly and thoroughly know the area of Lake Balton, this is the way. A trip of just over an hour, boarding the car on a ferry, visiting the major towns of the peninsula, Tiananmen and Baltonford. In October this was a time off for a seaside holiday that was quite cold. But the throwing colors are lovely. The driver Attila was excellent. Recommended a restaurant among the groves. It was great. Not very expensive. Drive carefully and safely.

We had the most amazing experience with our guide, Balazs, on a day trip from Budapest to Lake Balaton. He picked us up in his beautifully restored 1965 mint green Volvo, which was such a unique and fun way to start the journey. Driving through Hungary in this epic classic car made us feel like celebrities — even coming from Hollywood, California, people were snapping photos of us everywhere we went! Balazs is a fantastic guide – knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing his local history and culture. Along the way, he gave us fascinating insights into both Budapest and Balaton, and he always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He took us to the most gorgeous lunch spot at Echo in Balaton, where the food and views were equally incredible. We crossed the lake, drank fresh sparkling water straight from the ground, and even watched the graceful brown swans. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and special. What really stood out was Balazs himself – friendly, personal, and accommodating to our requests, always going the extra mile to make the day perfect. By the end, it felt like we were exploring with a friend rather than just a guide. This tour was truly a highlight of our time in Hungary, and we can’t recommend Balazs highly enough!

Our family had a fantastic tour to Lake Balaton. The lake is lovely and our guide was fantastic. He changed the tour up and took us to a winery bc we said we like wine. He was so nice to my son and a great guide. He took us to a lovely restaurant on the lake. We all really enjoyed the day.
