My sisters and I used Tico Way for our transportation back to the airport on the last day of our trip, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Scheduling our ride was simple, and our pickup time was promptly coordinated after we made the reservation. Our driver, Sebas, arrived early (or right on time), drove safely, and was friendly and professional throughout the trip. During the two-hour drive from Playa Hermosa to SJO Airport, he asked about our vacation, shared interesting insights about Costa Rica, and even recommended places to visit the next time we return. The van was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, Tico Way provided a smooth, comfortable, and reliable transfer, and I would happily use them again on a future trip to Costa Rica.
This would good. My flight was delayed but they were still waiting for me with a sign with name on it outside of the airport. Made it easy and took me right to my hotel. Would recommend.
Manuel was prompt and helpful and a great driver. We stopped off at the Rio de Tarcoles to see the crocodiles between San Jose and our hotel, and it was a cool stop.
Driver had to wait as our plane was delayed. He was great, no problems. Weather was bad and he did a great job.
Randal picked us up at the San Jose airport. Along the drive he shared great information on the culture, environment , history, and economics of Costa Rica. He answered so many questions and was genuinely interested in our interests and concerns as first travelers in Costa Rica. I highly recommend this service.
If you’re traveling to Costa Rica and need a driver, I cannot recommend Randal enough! He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not only was he reliable and professional, but he made our entire experience so much more enjoyable. Randal is incredibly knowledgeable about Costa Rican culture and shared so many interesting facts with us along the way. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond—he made extra stops at beautiful spots so we could take pictures and truly enjoy the scenery. We originally booked him just for a ride from the airport to our hotel, but we liked him so much that we hired him again to take us to La Fortuna. He even offered to bring us to an incredible animal sanctuary and acted as our personal tour guide—it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! I truly can’t say enough good things about Randal. If you want someone who is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your experience, he’s your guy!
