This private tour was absolutely wonderful. We'd booked it mainly for Michelle, since I'm not a wine drinker. Well, to my surprise, it turns out that not only do I like some wines, but I enjoyed several on the tour! The tour took us to two Chianti wineries, both of which we enjoyed very much. The first had some of its process tanks(?) contained in the cellar of a 10th-century church! They also produced their own gin, which I liked enough to have shipped to me back here in the states. The second winery was also quite lovely, and the dinner that the matriarch of that winery was nothing less than beautiful. We had wine with each course, which I found to be an interesting new experience. Finally, our tour guide was spectacular. He had a steady stream of stories to tell about all the places we were seeing or stopping at, and he caught on to our preferences (i.e., we like a good amount of detail in stories) quickly, and fed them with relish. All told, the whole day was one of those once-in-a-lifetime memories for us. We recommend Enotropea unreservedly.

Private tour with a very knowledgeable local sommelier(Daria). Visited 2 separate facilities- each unique and very informative. It should go without saying the wine was FANTASTIC and the meal at the second winery was amazing as well. A very worthwhile experience for my wife and i on our 10yr anniversary to Italy! Would Highly recommend to anyone looking for something more than just a tour.

This tour was fantastic! We loved going to two Chianti Classico wineries and having dinner at one of them. The scenery was beautiful, and the wine and food was outstanding. Our guide, Johnny, was excellent and extremely informative. We would highly recommend this tour.

We had a lovely time on our tour and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Italy! Beautiful views with delicious food and wine in the owner's house, complemented with the historical background of the beautiful Chianti area. Truly amazing experience and one of our main highlights during a recent Italy trip at the end of August! If you’re looking for a great private experience this is it. We had Angelo as our guide who has amazing experience and is one of only couple hundred Master Sommelier in the world. His knowledge was outstanding and educational for us. He chooses local small wineries that are typically owned and run by a family. We visited two wineries in beautiful Tuscan countryside settings and got the tours by the owners themselves and their passion was truly outstanding and affectionate. We learned a lot, tasted amazing wine, had amazing food and finished with an amazing dinner paired with the perfect bottle of wine overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The tour was definitely worth the money, the tour might not be the cheapest option but you won’t regret it. Angelo and all the wineries families we met were super friendly, attentive and spend as much time as we wanted with us, answering all our questions, sharing their passion for wine and explaining many aspects about wine we never knew. We can’t recommend the tour highly enough. As it’s truly private, just your booking, it’s a highly personalised experience - come with an open mind and heart and ready to engage in a great immersive experience experience.
