We had the Best Private tour with Our own Guide and Driver. We saw many things that weren’t on regular tours. Our Guide was the Best ! We saw the Jewish-Italian area and the Jewish-Greek neighborhood. We went to the Spice Market which was a definite great place to visit. Whole Tour was Perfect!

We had one full day to see as much of Instanbul as we could on our way to Mongolia this summer. Thanks to our guide, Ali, we did an everything but the palaces which really deserve a full day. Ali catered the trip to our desires after asking what we want to see which was much appreciated and thanks to him we saw most of the sites in the old city and even went over to the Asian side allowing us to cross the Bosphorous twice. He made suggestions to make the trip as efficient as possible. Our two teen age sons had a good time and so did we. The spot he recommended for lunch was delicious and catered to my wife’s vegetarian diet. We even saw how Turkish rugs were made and spent more than we wanted to on three of them. Suggests skipping the rug place unless you really want to buy a rug. They are beautiful. Thanks Ali for the great memories. Highly recommend this tour.

We fell in love with Istanbul thanks to our guide, Ali. He was so personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He took the time to find out what we would like to see, and he made some suggestions that turned out to be the highlights of our tour. He kept three generations of us from teens to grandparents engaged and happy. He accommodated the needs of those of us with limited mobility while also ensuring that those of us who were up for walking got to see everything that we wanted, which was a lot! We ended our tour with a deep appreciation for the history, architecture, and culture of Istanbul. We loved spending the day with our kind and talented guide, Ali!

We had the pleasure of using Ali Ozdemir as our guide in Istanbul for the second time, and somehow the experience was even better than the first. Since he remembered everything we had already seen on our previous trip, he thoughtfully created an entirely new itinerary tailored to our interests. We toured Topkapi Palace, which was absolutely incredible, and his knowledge of the history, culture, and stories behind everything we saw was extensive without ever feeling overwhelming. He kept us engaged the entire time, answered all of our questions conversationally, and made the day feel more like exploring the city with a very knowledgeable friend than being on a formal tour. He also knew I wanted to do some shopping and perfectly balanced modern boutiques with authentic old-world shopping experiences. And perhaps most importantly — because a great food stop is always high on my list — he consistently found the best local eats that we never would have discovered on our own. The next day we toured Dolmabahçe Palace, and once again he brought the history and atmosphere to life in a way that made the experience unforgettable. After the palace, we crossed to the Asian side of Istanbul and became even more immersed in Ottoman cuisine. Our menu was incredibly diverse, and then came the desserts — all just fabulous. Ali expertly guided us away from tourist traps, and even when I occasionally pushed because I “just wanted to get the picture,” he made sure I got it — and as always, his advice was right and we happily moved on! Ali is not only our guide now, but truly our friend. He also connected us with a fabulous sunset cruise option one evening as we were celebrating our anniversary! Class act!We cannot recommend him highly enough.
