Disse ture er designet til dem, der ønsker at tilbringe en dag med en lokal, ligesom en lokal, undgå folkemængder og besøge selv de must-see steder på de roligste tider. Alle ture ledes af en enkelt guide - mig selv - og jeg elsker det, jeg gør. Jeg tilføjer altid noget særligt til hver tur, hvilket gør det unikt, ligesom mine gæster, og jeg går den ekstra mile for at sikre en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Jeg starter hver tur med en personlig dagsorden, fordi jeg vil have dig til at føle den kærlighed og lidenskab, jeg har for denne utroligt smukke ø!

Afhentningssteder og tider
Disse er private ture med et enkelt pick-up stop, og eventyret begynder, så snart vi mødes. Vigtigt: afhentning uden for Funchal, Santa Cruz og Câmara de Lobos medfører en lille ekstra gebyr. Jeg kører en bil mærket med Go Local Madeira logo og normalt afhente gæster ved deres dør. For ture på land, vil jeg møde dig på krydstogtskibet og give klare, nemme at følge instruktioner for at sikre et glat og stressfrit møde. Jeg har to fuldt restaurerede all-terrain køretøjer til din komfort og sikkerhed: Nissan Patrol (1993) – 5 sæder: 1 vendt fremad, 4 i bagsiden vendt til siden (60 cm / 23 tommer hver), med et panoramisk / konvertible tag for fantastisk udsigt. Land Rover Discovery TDI (1996) – 4 sæder vendt fremad, perfekt til en behagelig tur. Køretøjer tildeles afhængigt af tilgængelighed, vedligeholdelse eller vejrforhold, med forudgående varsel til gæsterne.

We had a perfect day! Val is a great and knowledgeable person with a positive spirit! Definitely the best way to experience the island. We went for the East Tour and will 100% go with Val to the West next time. He showed us places we never would have been able to drive on our own. Nice places, great oceans views, no crowds, and nice little walking tours. Und, das Beste für uns, er spricht nicht nur Englisch, sondern auch sehr gut Deutsch 😁 Great Job, Val! Vielen Dank!
We chose Val's tours after reading the positive reviews and we're so glad that we did. We did both the East and West tours on consecutive days. Both days we saw so many sights. The tours were tailored so that we avoided crowds and also got to see local places off the usual tourist track. All members of the family had a fantastic time. Both of our children have autism and their needs were accommodated well. The off roading was lots of fun, the cafes we were taken to for lunch were great, and we saw so many places we would never have managed to visit had we tried to do this independently. Val provided lots of interesting information. We highly recommend both East and West tours. Definitely the highlight of our stay in Madeira.

We had the best two tours with Val. We did one focusing on the East and one in the West. Showed us places we never would have found or been able to drive on her own. Helped us avoid the crowds and gave great advice for places to visit on our own. I would book a tour on the first day you can and enjoy Val’s advice when touring by yourself. I would also recommend booking directly and he offers a discount for multi day tours.

Val offered us a fascinating trip around the east of the island that included exploring some of the most interesting towns in this area (such as Santa Cruz, Machico and Santana) as well as the opportunity to enjoy the natural wonders of eastern Madeira. We especially appreciated the efforts Val made to find us quieter places of beauty and the wealth of knowledge he was able to share about the natural, cultural and political history of the island. Our teenage sons also very much enjoyed the thrill of driving off-road and being able to enjoy rooftop views from the jeep. Overall, we enjoyed the tour so much that we booked a second tour with Val to the West of the island which proved similarly rich and memorable. Without question, exploring the island with Val and sharing his knowledge of Madeira was the highlight of our visit.

Definitely the best way to explore Madeira and get awesome tips for the rest of your trip. We had an amazing first day on Madeira with Valdemar and his 4WD car - you'll definitely see places, you'd never see on your own. We got so many tips for our vacation, that it was worth every single euro and Valdemar is a really great guy!
Winding roads through green hills of east Madeira, passing by small villages and farms. Stopping at a miradouro, taking in the breathtaking ocean views and exploring hidden levada trails. Beautiful scenery, variety of fruits and a lot of positivity from Valdemar. Highly recommended!
Really great trip, Val was really attentive and personable. He’s got genuine and deep knowledge of the island and real pride in his country, which came across and was appreciated and refreshing to hear He makes you feel like he’s there for you. He did his homework on us and really tailored the tour, down to the freshest poncha. Worth noting this service wasn’t a one off and I was introduced by my son who went a few year back and also had a great experience with Val. Would definitely go again.
In 8 hours we got a lot of unforgettable impressions - we saw places which we never would come to otherwise, hidden gems of Madeira, astonishing views and we got tons of information about history, culture, traditions, food etc. Val, our guide, is a brilliant driver and fantastic person, he makes sure everyone is happy. If you only have time for one tour while here - choose any tour with Val, it's so worth it!
The most spectacular tour ever! We've seen so much under 8 hours, I'll need several days to process all impressions. Val (our guide) is amazing person - so much knowledge of Madeira and so skilful driver! He took us places we would never find otherwise! We're so grateful!
Valdemar drove us safely through the east of Madeira on what were at times adventurous routes. He had a lot to tell us and was able to answer all of our questions in detail. His German is excellent. With his driving skills and the four-wheel drive car, we were able to discover many places that you can't get to with a rental car. He was happy to adapt the tour to our needs. We were able to try super delicious Poncha and ate really traditional Madeiran food. I can only recommend Valdemar and this tour in particular.
