Polina was INCREDIBLE. We toured Versailles gardens and the palace with my friend and my daughter, 13 years old. Polina was excellent in balancing the information for adults and a teen. Because of some interests we had along the tour she was flexible and so very knowledgable that she was able to pivot and make the tour so personal to us and still make out entry times for Versailles. Her personality is sweet, kind, intelligent and easy going....you can tell she loves what she does and makes hanging out with her enjoyable. I would recommend Polina 11/10.
our guide, gregory, was phenomenal! he was so knowledgeable about both american and french history. he was a fabulous photographer and showed us the best places to take pictures. he spoke great english, was witty and so very smart! you can tell he loves what he does!
Golf cart is the best way to see the guardians, especially with a toddler! Polina (our tour guide) was exceptional and remarkably patient with our two year old throughout the entirety of tour. Cannot say enough great things about her!
I had a wonderful time during this visit. I loved its organization and the unique way the guide brought the story to life for us, as if suspended in time, in the heart of the beauty of the Versailles gardens.

We had a fantastic experience with The Secret of Paris. Everything was perfectly organized from the beginning, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Parisian history and culture. The tour was very well paced and allowed us to discover both the iconic highlights and some hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. The explanations were engaging and tailored to our interests, which made the visit even more special. Communication with Polina was excellent, and the whole experience felt very professional and personalized. Highly recommended if you are looking for a private, high-quality tour experience in Paris.

I booked a tour with this service, received their confirmation, paid for it, but then received a WhatsApp message from a lady named Polina asking me if I was interested in "upgrading" from the tour I had booked (private tour of palace and gardens WITHOUT golf cart, for EUR 260 for 2 persons) to the exact same tour but WITH golf cart, for EUR 700 (so nearly 3x the price!). When I declined this "offer", Polina told me the tour they had originally offered and already confirmed to me was "no longer available", and proceeded to cancel my booking (refund will take 5-7 days, according to Viator customer service). A blatantly obvious, shameless "upselling" attempt, forcing me to go looking for an alternative just days before our trip to Paris - avoid this service!

Unfortunately, following your reservation request, the specific time slot required for the visit of the Palace of Versailles became unavailable, which made it impossible for us to provide the exact experience you had booked. In such situations, we always prefer to cancel and ensure a full refund rather than risk disappointing our guests on the day of the visit. As an alternative, we offered the Versailles gardens golf cart experience with a Palace entrance time slot available approximately three hours later, in case you still wished to enjoy Versailles during your stay. However, we completely understand that this option did not suit your plans. Please note that our intention was never to pressure you into an upgrade, but simply to propose an alternative experience when the original service could no longer be guaranteed. An expensive but great way to visit Versailles and get around most of the crowds. Poline is a great guide and very knowledgeable. The golf cart makes it easy to see the gardens.

Paulina was awesome. She was super engaging and knowledgeable. She catered our tour to our 3 under 12 year old kids and they now talk about Louis the XIV like he is their friend. Golf carts are a must for a good review of the gardens!!

We did a private tour and it was truly customized to my husband and me. It was a freezing day outside so the outdoor portion of our tour was modified for us. Our very knowledgeable hostess was extremely knowledgeable and spent extra time with us inside. If you want custom and private, this is the tour for you.
