Din tur begynder med en naturskøn køretur til det mongolske nomadiske kulturarv center, hvor du vil blive nedsænket i de rige traditioner i Mongoliets nomadiske livsstil. Oplev et levende kulturelt program med traditionel madsmagning, de sjælfulde lyde af de fængslende mongolske folkesange. Du får også mulighed for at prøve et bueskydning og få en dybere forståelse af nomadiske skikke, der er blevet videregivet i generationer. Efter kulturudstillingen kan du nyde en lækker frokost på turistlejrrestauranten. Om eftermiddagen fortsætter turen til Khustai Nuruu National Park, hjemsted for den bemærkelsesværdige Przewalski's hest (Takhi) - den sidste virkelig vilde hest på jorden. En gang uddød i naturen, Takhi har gjort en triumferende tilbagevenden takket være en vellykket reintroduktion program, der begyndte i 1992. I 2024 er Takhi-befolkningen i parken vokset til over 315 individer. Ud over de vilde heste tilbyder Khustai fantastiske landskaber, mangfoldige dyreliv og en fredelig flugt ind i naturen.

Vores guide og chauffør vil møde dig i din boliglobby på dit fleksible tidspunkt om morgenen. Derefter starter vi vores tur med at køre til Mongol Nomadic Tourist Camp. Der vil du deltage i det mongolske nomadiske kulturprogram og få mere at vide om mongolsk nomadekultur og livsstil. Der vil du blive budt på noget traditionel mad og underholdende Morin khuur og mongolske folkesange. Derudover vil du blive introduceret til at opdrætte 5 slags husdyr og lege med landskampe og bueskydning. Efter frokost fortsætter vi vores rejse 110 kilometer sydvest for Ulaanbaatar, vi besøger Khustain Nuruu, et fredet område dedikeret til at bevare og beskytte Mongoliets vilde heste, kendt som takhi eller Przewalskis heste. Samarbejde med internationale miljøagenturer fra 1992 til 2004, vellykkede genindførelsesprogrammer genoplivede Takhi-befolkningen. Det økonomiske bidrag til stødpudezonen fra turismen anvendes 100 % til naturpleje.

The best cultural experience tour I have ever been on, and I have traveled to almost 90 countries. The Mongolian people were enthusiastic and joyful in explaining to everyone aspects of nomadic Mongolian culture. The musical concert was particularly outstanding (I bought a CD afterwards). My guide was excellent in explaining what was happening so I could easily understand. The arts and crafts shop had outstanding artifacts, souvenirs, and art work for sale at reasonable prices. Much better than anywhere in Ulaanbaatar. The lunch buffet with lamb mutton was delicious and individually prepared for each table; not the usual lukewarm bland buffet usually provided on these type of tours.
What an amazing experience! This was a simpler, raw experience, full of discovery and fun. We got to see the rare wild horse in its natural habitat, learn a bit about the history of Mongolia, past and modern, taste local dishes and drinks, mount up on a camel and a yak! In addition, got silly with traditional games dating way back before electricity and even got a short driving tour of Ulaanbataar. All with a freedom from following a dozen or more others, and enjoying a relaxed schedule. The guide spoke perfect English and communication was not a problem at all. Highly recommended.

Our guide was knowledgeable, passionate, and spoke excellent English, making the history and culture come alive at every stop. The food was simple but satisfying. If you’re looking for raw beauty, rich culture, and a true sense of adventure, Mongolia should be at the top of your list. I would highly recommend the tour from Meet Mongolia tours
Enjoyed a lot the day tour. Nomadic camp is not far from UB in a beautiful spot. Their put nomadic cultural exhibition and show were authentic and interesting. The food was excellent. It was only 1h to reach out Hustai national park. I was guided to see the wild horses at clawn or dusk, but luckily I saw them not far from the entrance. Also there were number of marmots along the way roaming. Thanks to the good organisation, helpful driver and knowledgeable guide, I really had a great day trip. Would highly recommend this tour!
