I løbet af denne tur vil du se 3 forskellige, smukke farvede bjerge. På din vej dertil vil du være i stand til at se alpacaer og lamaer i deres naturlige habitat og bagefter besøge en kolonibro. Dette er et af de få steder i verden, der byder på dette landskab med fantastiske farverige bjerge. Minimumsantallet af personer, der kan tage denne private tur er 2.

Vi henter dig tidligt fra dit Cusco-hotel omkring kl. 05.30. Køreturen til Palccoyo er cirka 3,5 timer, før vi gør det første stop i Combapata. Når vi når Palccoyo-passet, går vi op ad bakke i cirka 40-50 minutter (5000m/16.400ft). Her vil du have en spektakulær panoramaudsigt over tre Rainbow Mountain Palccoyo-toppe samt det højeste bjerg i Cusco-regionen (Ausangate). Vi vil bruge cirka en time her på at tage billeder og nyde den fantastiske udsigt. Herefter tager vi tilbage til vores private transport for at tage til Checacupe, hvor vi vil besøge dens fantastiske koloniale bro, (vi vil bruge omkring 20 minutter her for at tage billeder og udforske området). Herefter vil vi have tid til at nyde en lækker frokost lavet af lokalbefolkningen. Vi tager derefter vores private transport tilbage til Cusco (ca. 2,5 timers kørsel). Vi er tilbage i Cusco omkring kl. 17.00 og afleverer dig på dit hotel.
Det er vigtigt at nævne, at ruten til Palccoyo er ny, da det er en relativt ny attraktion, derfor kan vejene være meget ujævne i omkring en time hver vej, da regeringen ikke har asfalteret dem endnu.

It was a 3 hour drive one way, pick up at 6.30 am and then a hike from 15,600 to 16,000 feet. The rock formations and views were totally worth it! The guide carried oxygen if we needed it. We took a private tour which I recommend because of the long drive. We had about 1.5 hours to walk and then started the return. We stopped for lunch after 1.5 hours and then were returned to our hotel at around 5pm. The trail was not at all crowded and is a mild climb to the vista point. One just needs to go slowly! This mountain has only been visited for a couple years as it was covered by glaciers.

Wow what a place! One of those pinch me moments when you see the beautiful mountains in all their glory. It was stunning to feel in the middle of nowhere and have such an incredible site almost to ourselves. Really well organised, good communication and tour guide was fantastic. It was a wonderful view. After passing the Palocoyo gate, we drive through the area where many alpacas are grazing. It was a lot of alpacas - marron, black, white. Then get out of the car and start walking. There are two observatories, the first of which is a mountain of red soil. And finally we see a mountain shining in rainbow colours. You can also see the Andean snow mountains there and feel solemn. The staff lent me a walking stick, so I could climb easily. I'd like to say that, but the air is thin. I climbed slowly and steadily, hawing. It got harder and harder to breathe, but they took me to the top. If you are in private, you can climb at your own pace, so it is good! After that we had lunch and finished. I spend a lot of time in the car. Furthermore, it is a private tour, so it is expensive, but I felt it was well worth it. I asked for an English guide. The guides and drivers were very kind! I recommend it.

We visited the Paccoyo with the whole family, including two children and had a great time. It is a medium long but comfortable journey in the vehicle. We took our time with the guide and even with the kids it went well. Thank you to Into Peru for your help before and during the tour. Highly recommended everything!

We had an espectacular trip to the rainbow mountain of palcoyo with Into Peru. The driver and guide were great and it was a seamless booking experience. They turned up on time and dropped us off at the door of our hotel. The day trip was great and the mountains are beautiful and so quiet compared to any tourist attraction I’ve been to before. Wow what a trip! We took our two teenagers and despite the long drive to our surprise even they enjoyed it! It was well organised and it was a lovely place to visit, it feels like being on another planet. The food on the way back was great too. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the door.
