Bharat is a very good driver. Sweet, quiet, knowledgeable, flexible, respectful, helpful. We communicated in minimal English but he did very well with a translatiron app and always seemed to understand what I was asking or requesting. I would highly recommend him. If you want a guide to give you a narrative then you should also hire one. However beware of the guides. Many/most do not listen well, tend to have an agenda, are often trying to get you into a store. It is the system. A guide with similar qualities as Bharat, who is responsive to your wishes with no agenda other than making sure you are safe and happy, seems to be a more rare find. He also brought me to a friend’s textile and carpet workshop. I had been studying Kashmiri and Rajasthani foods, especially Pasmina. These people seemed to be the most reputable with the highest quality textiles at fair prices. I thought their information was much more reliable and intelligent and there was no pressure at all. Seemed to be good people and I am happy with our transaction. I had many other less satisfying experiences in this regard. He didn’t suggest this until the last day and only in passing. Bharat would never pressure anyone. I respect his honesty and his work ethic. He was arranged for me by Club Mahindra as a trusted driver. Club Majindra is also WONDERFUL!
