Privat Nybegynder Paddleboard 101 Lektion: Makena Landing!

We had an amazing time with our guide, Peg. She was so very encouraging. Our family of adult kids had gone on this trip in 2018 and now brought their significant others. I’ve gotten far more nervous in those years and ultimately chose to stay seated. Peg really helped me with my nerves and while encouraging, she wasn’t pushy about standing. Everyone else stood up and had a great time. We ultimately paddled 1.25 miles in the beautiful water. Peg took beautiful photos the entire time which are beautiful keepsakes! We highly recommend this and hope to do it again!

We had a wonderful paddleboarding and snorkeling experience in Maui! It was our first time ever paddleboarding, and we had our 12-year-old daughter with us, so we weren’t sure what to expect—but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, John, was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire tour. We ended up spending about two hours on the water, and John provided the snorkel gear. Even though we’re not experienced snorkelers or particularly adventurous we felt at ease and ended up really enjoying the experience. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a fun, low-stress outing on the ocean. Our tour started at 8:15 AM, and although we were initially worried the water might be cold (July), it was actually perfect. The early morning timing was ideal, the water was calm, the visibility was good, and it wasn’t crowded. A memorable moment: my husband’s wedding ring accidentally slipped off his finger and sank into the ocean. Despite the depth, John made a genuine effort to try and find it, which we really appreciated. Peg, the owner, was also very warm and welcoming. She even shared a list of her favorite local spots around Maui, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a relaxed, scenic, and friendly ocean adventure!

Brittney, Emily and Brody were awesome! They taught us well and made it fun and easy for us to learn how to paddle board. They were patient and very attentive to our different learning styles. The water and views were amazing. Thank you all for a wonderful time!

This was our favorite water activity of the trip. Peg was a great teacher, very knowledgeable about the ocean and islands, and fun to hangout with for a couple of hours.

Peg and Dana are woman owed business and they were wonderful with my special need child. Kind and understanding. It was a beautiful location and I highly recommend it.

My family of four signed up for a lesson with Peg and Emily. They were great and we had a wonderful time. Peg is a thoughtful and considerate instructor. She explained paddle boarding perfectly. We all were standing up on the boards in no time. Even though we fell into the water quite a bit, we had a blast because that’s a part of the fun. Emily worked with the kids and they loved hanging out with her. They were doing tricks on the boards immediately. It was a beautiful day in Turtle Town. As we were returning to shore we saw a big turtle swimming under my board.

This was a truly awesome experience. Peg has a lot of patience and is a great teacher. My wife and I both had a great time! We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

Husband, son and daughter-14 and 11 took the lesson. My son knows swimming, my daughter knows a bit. Husband does not know how to swim. Pam is super nice and patient and an excellent coach. All three learned to paddle in this class, kids can even stand and paddle! They also paddled to snorkling area, kids did snorkling, pam even taught my daughter how to swim. Pam also spend extra hours with kids in ocea. Kids had so much fun! Another thing is kids forgot googles. Pam texted us and dropped google to our hotel! Super nice! Really great experience!

My 10yo daughter and I went out on paddle boards with Marie and had a wonderful time. She was patient with my daughter’s nerves about the ocean and made sure both of us had a splendid time. We were lucky the winds calmed down and we were able to go. We paddled to snorkeling spot and saw lots of fish, got to touch a red pencil urchin and an octopus. Would definitely recommend this SUP tour to all. Marie also took pictures throughout the tour and edited them before sending later that evening.

The private paddle was one of the best experiences I had in my life! First, they arranged a schedule for our flight, and there was no way to express how thankful we were. When we arrived, the guides, Peg and Brittany, gave a step-by-step lesson so my family could follow and stand up on the paddle boats by ourselves. It was a fantastic experience! Peg and Brittany put our children in the front seat of their craft to keep them safe and let them paddle so that they could experience their own as well. I was also impressed by their professional leadership and consideration at the same time. There was nothing more we could ask for. Thank you, Peg and Brittany!
