Vi tager dig gennem den smukke by Muscat, hvor vi først besøger den store moské, som blandt andet er en af de største håndlavede iranske tæpper i verden. Tæppet vejer en enorm 21 tons og kan komfortabelt rumme op til 20.000 tilbedere. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque er lukket, hvis det er fredag (For fredag bøn) lige udenfor for foto stop kun.
Vi vil køre dig rundt i ministerierne og Royal Opera House-området, som er førende kunst- og kulturorganisation i Sultanatet Oman. Visionen for Operahuset er at tjene som et center for ekspertise inden for globalt kulturelt engagement (Royal Opera er lukket, hvis det er fredag - Kun fotostop)
Bait Al Zubair er et museum, beliggende på Al Saidiya Street, Old Muscat, Oman. Museet har en omfattende samling af gamle våben, herunder khanjar, husholdningsudstyr og kostumer. Uden for museet ligger en omansk landsby og souk i fuld skala
Denne strand ligger i Al Qurm-området i hjertet af Muscat og strækker sig over et stort område. Denne strand anses for at være en af de travleste i Muscat på grund af dens beliggenhed nær indkøbscentre og restauranter, men den vil kun være et fotostop.

Al Alam Palace "Palace of the Flag" er et palads beliggende i Old Muscat, Oman. Det blev brugt som et ceremonielt palads af sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. En af monarkens seks sultanboliger har en historie på over 200 år og blev bygget under overvågning af Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, den syvende direkte bedstefar til Sultan Qaboos.
Kun Al Jalali Fort Photo Stop. Al Jalali Fort, eller Ash Sharqiyah Fort, er et fort i havnen i Old Muscat, Oman. Fortet blev bygget af portugiserne under Filip I af Portugal i 1580'erne for at beskytte havnen, efter at Muscat to gange var blevet plyndret af osmanniske styrker. Det faldt til omanske styrker i 1650. Under borgerkrigene mellem 1718 og 1747 blev fortet to gange erobret af persere, der var blevet inviteret til at hjælpe en af de rivaliserende imamer. Fortet blev senere omfattende genopbygget.

Muscat is a beautiful city. This is our first day in Oman but from the experience so far. Looks like it's highly underrated. The city is beautiful, clean, peaceful good food . Our tour guide Hamood from Oman Landscapes has been good , very helpful and informative so far. He speaks very good english too. So so far so good. We are here for another 5 days. Will keep updating my experiences here.

The history and the culture of the city is so rich and beautifully explained by Hamood! You can go see the sights on your own, which are beautiful. But the guided tour gives you a much deeper appreciation for the city.

We had a wonderful Muscat city tour with our guide, Khalid. He made the experience extremely fun and engaging, and his knowledge about the city, its history, and all the landmarks was truly impressive. Khalid also recommended an excellent restaurant, Rosanna, for our lunch—which turned out to be a perfect choice. Overall, it was a great day and we highly recommend Khalid for anyone visiting Muscat!

We had a Tour of Muscat City with Said as our tour guide. We visited the best part of the city in a relaxed manner. A perfect and pleasant way get oriented with the alluring and unusual charming city of Muscat, Oman. Said was an amazing guide. He exuded professionalism throughout the day, shared insights into the Omani culture, shared tips on being street smart and introduced us to some intellects to spread the wisdom and intellect to our curious minds. We had Saif as our guide and he was amazing in showing us Muscat and various famous spots but most importantly taking time to explain a lot of things and answering all our questions. We were fascinated by the architecture and the stories behind the buildings and would always recommend this tour over a shorter one as it will give you sufficient time to properly explore and learn about Oman and Muscat.
