På vores Secret Food Tour: Montmartre, vil du opdage Guinguette-ånden i Montmartre, som er blevet afbildet af mange malere, det vil sige, at du nyder en fin ost med pålæg, som alle er parret med vin i et måltid i picnic-stil. Vores tour er unik, designet til at gøre din oplevelse autentisk. Parisere går fra butik til butik og samler de bedste ingredienser til deres måltider fra en række specialforretninger. Vi gør det samme og giver dig prøver af mad undervejs. Din lokale guide vil dele historien bag området, lokale butikker og dine valg af mad; når de køber ost, vin, spekemat og kager. Vi ender på et hemmeligt sted for at nyde vores måltid som en lokal. Som en privat turné fungerer alt omkring dig! Vores starttider er meget mere lette, datoer kan åbnes. Det er en meget mere intim og hyggelig oplevelse. Ingen grund til at råbe over andre turister, du får alle spørgsmål besvaret og forlader at føle dig som en indfødt selv!

I always prefer a small group tour and on the day we booked for we ended up having just ourselves and one other couple. Walking through Montmatre we sampled chocolate, macrons, pastry, cheese and crepes. Along the way our guide told us about the Montmatre area and of course food culture in Paris. At each stop he explained about the shop itself and how/why it had become as widely regarded for it's high quality as all of them were. The secret location on this particular tour actually made this unlike any food tour I've done previously - it gave us a chance to have a private charcuterie degustation. As we'd walked through Montmatre our guide had collected several cheeses, cured meats and pates (alongside fresh baguettes and fine French butter of course) which he then presented to us in "courses" with not only the background to each one but also suggestions of how best to taste and enjoy it. All this fine food was of course paired with excellent French wines - first a white and then a red. Dessert was not missed either as a surprise pastry also appeared when we thought we could eat no more. If all that were not exceptional enough our guide Gespard perfect. Superb English, extremely knowledge and simply lovely to chat with throughout the course of the afternoon. Could not recommend this tour more highly.

Our tour guide was great. Aramis spoke very clear English and new what she was talking about. She explained everything well and made sure everybody understood what was happening. Three of the five people with us really did not know anything about Paris, and they thought it was very fun. The other two had been here many times anddidn’t find it all that interesting.

Amazing food tour! Gaspard was an amazing guide and took the time to explain everything well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys cheese, meats, and wine. Also the tour accommodated my food allergies which was so appreciated.

Coralie was a delight to guide us through Montmartre and introduce us to local artisans of delicious foods. Her knowledge of the area and its history was excellent. Our group enjoyed a long relaxed lunch of cheeses, meats and wines at the end of our tour. There was great conversation between our group but this could be different dependent on who joins the tour. We paid for the extra 3 wines and enjoyed our choice.
