Ejet af ASI (arkæologiske undersøgelse af Indien) er dette en smuk port bygget i 1924 til minde om indgangen til kong George The V og Queen Mary i 1911 i Mumbai.
Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, er et arv fem-stjernet luksus saracenic revival arkitektur hotel i Colaba regionen Mumbai, Maharashtra, Indien, beliggende ved siden af Indiens Gateway.
Hovedattraktionen på dette sted er den detaljerede koloniale arkitektur af bygningen og The Rajabai Clock Tower lookalike af The Big Ben of England.

We had a great city tour. We were picked up in North Mumbai as taken to the South of Mumbai. Our tour included: • Gateway of India • Mumbai University • Bombay High Court • Victoria Terminus (CST) • Marine Drive • Mani Bhavan (Gandhi House) • Hanging Gardens • Kamla Nehru Park • Antilia (world’s most expensive private residence – exterior view) • Dhobi Ghat (world’s largest open-air laundry – viewing point) The tour included: • English-speaking guide • Air-conditioned car with pickup and drop-off • All entrance fees • Vada Pav food tasting • Bottled water Rahul was a fun guide with some great local anecdotes.. Visiting Dhobi Ghat was one of the most fascinating parts of my trip to Mumbai. I was lucky enough to have a private guided tour with Rahul taking me around the must do essential sites of Mumbai. He and the driver couldn't have been more professional and delivered the most brilliant in introduction to the city.
