I thought someone would be there waiting with my name but instead 2 different people kept calling trying to get me to explain to them where I was in the airport. When I finally found the driver they tried to pack 9 people into 1 van, so it’s not a private transfer like I thought. Once you get in they tell you it’s $30 more dollars per person which the claim is the price difference from what we paid online. Everyone in the van was confused but we all paid to keep down confusion. I would not recommend.

The driver got there an hour and half after our flight landed. After we were finally picked up the drive had to stop to get gas. Once we finally got going she drove like a maniac. I would never use this company again.

The fee apply’s to a specific area. We stayed at Secrets Tides and we were asked to pay an additional 49 for the driver.

My experience was terrifying to say the least. This was my first time visiting DR and the driver did not have the correct address although I booked the trip with the address shown on the hotel website. He kept trying to drop me off at different locations and he could not locate the property where I was staying. He made it seem like it was ok for him to just drop me anywhere to find my own way and that was very scary because I was not in a familiar country. Thank God for the young lady accompanying on the ride who spoke Spanish because I don't know if I would have made it to my destination if it wasn't for her assisting with locating my hotel. The driver was constantly looking at his phone crossing over the road lines and almost hit 2 pedestrians and 2 cars. It was not a very pleasant experience and I did not feel safe, but I finally made it to my destination after that entire ordeal. I can only give one star because at least I made it, but I would not recommend Alta Gama Transfers for ANY airport transfer.

The driver left us waiting at the airport for 45 min after we arrived. I have two kids and the weather was crazy. While waiting for the driver my young baby fell and I got to go to emergency room what ended up costing me $500 dollars. Ended up at the hotel at 5pm when I was supposed to get there at 11 am. A complete nightmare just because someone couldn't be there on time.

Driver never showed up. Confirmed before my flight and person said driver would be there. When we landed no one was. Communication through what’s app stated driver was in traffic. However, a lady text same number and they told her they were “looking” for someone! Then they said they would reimburse me, but then told me to request refund. Very unprofessional and misleading!

My initial search brought me to your site, where I was quoted a transportation cost. Based on my research, the average round-trip fare from the airport to the hotel was approximately $50, so I booked the service for $52. When I arrived at the airport, I had to wait 35 minutes for the driver to arrive. Upon reaching the hotel, I was unexpectedly told that I had to pay an additional $49. Since I had no practical alternative at that point, I reluctantly paid the extra charge. I believe this additional fee should have been clearly disclosed before I booked the service. The unexpected charge significantly increased the total cost of my transportation and created a frustrating experience. I respectfully request a refund of the undisclosed $49 charge or an explanation of why it was not included in the original quoted price.

Our transportation from the airport to the resort was excellent. The driver was very friendly and professional, the pickup process was easy and seamless, and the transportation company was very responsive throughout the entire experience. I would definitely use their service again and highly recommend them.

Very disappointed with this company. Many of my travel transfers are with Viator this company was not reachable in a urgent situation, not even when the Viator tried to make contact. The first time I heard from this transfer company was the morning of my travel and they were picking me up at the original time. Had they responded to messages they would have been aware that the departure time needed to be earlier. Hopefully, with future transfers and tours this company will be more responsive to the client.
