A perfect intro to Lisbon! Elsa is fun and knowledgeable and made the walking trip interesting for all ages but the best part was the food tasting at the end. The port tasting and charcuterie boards were outrageously good. Small batch ports, locally sourced and small farm supplied meats and cheeses. And they provided NA drinks four our teens and non-drinkers which was nice. This was the real deal for foodies!

Our tour guide Sofia was an amazing tour guide. She was incredible knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She took us all over and we got to see things we never would have before. Overall 10/10. This was amazing!

We booked this tour after another friend recommended we do so. My husband and I did a private tour with Your Friend in Lisbon after getting in on the red eye for our Portuguese honeymoon. Adriana walked us around the city, including a stop for a ginja to kick us off. After the walking tour we had our tasting. The tasting started with three olive oils, and then moved onto wines, meats and cheeses. This was one of the most beautiful and delicious charcuterie boards we have ever seen. In addition to the great tour and tasting, it was so great to start our trip being able to just chat with a local. Adriana was able to teach us about the history and food of Portugal, but also chatted with us about recommendations on where to visit, some lessons in the Portuguese language, and just general things we should know. It really felt like we were just hanging out with our new friend and were so grateful to kick off our trip this way.

It was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Pedro, who was exceptionally knowledgeable on Portuguese history, so personable and friendly. We had this tour on the last day of our 9-day trip through Portugal, so we were able to talk with Pedro about all the information we have collected so far, connect all the dots, and get all of our unanswered questions covered. Elsa is the perfect tour guide. She is so knowledgeable about the history and gastronomy of Portugal - and fun and interesting. We made so many stops for food and wine and she explained each and she knows the best place. At the end of the tour she helped us buy our transportation cards for the next day. She is a real gem.
