Privat Langhe og Barolo vintur fra Milano

Beskrivelse

The overall experience was wonderful and informative!!! The scenery along the drive was beautiful. The tasting at the these private wineries was great and unique.
We are glad to hea that you became a fan of the local Barolo wine during our tour! Thank you so much for writing this review!
Elizabeth, our guide and driver was pleasant and kept us updated on the tour. She spoke very well and explained all along the tour. The wine tasting for both was very good , however tenuta Barca was exceptionally well due to family run . Perhaps getting a small lunch like panini, sandwich would help

Elizabeth was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. The hosts at the wineries were also great, and the wine was amazing. Piedmont is beautiful.
It's great to hear that you enjoyed visiting the Piedmont region on our wine tour! thank you so much for the review!
We visited 2 wineries on this tour - Barac and Garesio. Both gave an in depth tour of the winemaking process. The winemakers were passionate, knowledgable, friendly and informative. Barac in particular is beautiful with lovely gardens and vistas. Most of the wines tasted were in the €20-35 range. All were very drinkable (some excellent), and freely available to purchase. An antipasto platter was served at both venues. The wine pours were not particularly generous, but I imagine you could buy a bottle and enjoy it on site. We stopped briefly twice to enjoy a minor castle and some views along the way. The minivan we drove in had no air-conditioning in the rear cabin and was uncomfortable on a warm June day. The Ways guide was friendly but essentially just a driver and didn't offer much commentary. Given that each winery offers tastings for a small fee, Ways' fee is high for the service offered. Avoiding the hassle of organising and driving would probably still make it worth it for most people.
