My brother and I booked a tour as a birthday present to ourselves. Wesley the owner is super nice, always calls back promptly. Bruce our pilot was absolutely Fantastic . Professional, extremely informative re landmarks and history. Personality plus. Thank you Joy Air. Love to fly with you again
I wanted to treat my nephew to his first airplane ride, and Joy Ride was the perfect choice. He sat in the co-pilot seat and with the headphones connecting us to air traffic control, he received a flying experience not available on a commercial flight. We enjoyed the 45 minute flight with the pilot’s narration South to San Clemente and North along the coast to Huntington Beach. To top off this wonderful experience, we saw a pod of over 100 dolphin below us. WOW!
The Orange County Coastal Tour was a great experience. I booked it as an anniversary gift. Wes and Bruce (our pilot) were very easy to deal with and accommodating. Flying with Bruce was like being with an old friend, friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. His passion for flying is contagious! My husband and I can’t wait for another opportunity, -or excuse, to book another tour with AirJoy. This is a very good unique way to see Orange County, even for locals like us. I graduated A&P school so I wanted to treat myself with a solo tour. I was blessed enough to have Bruce as my pilot, he was amazing! Very professional, friendly, and overall a great guy. He was nice enough not just to fly me and show me the beautiful view from up high, but explained to me how everything worked. I extremely recommend taking this tour, everyone should do it at least once in their lifetime!! Thank God for pilots like Bruce.
A great experience! We had Wes as our pilot and he was amazing! Since I mentioned I was a student pilot he went into more detail on the communications side of things. We will definitely be back! Fly with Joy Air all the way!

Joy Air accommodated a same-day request to get us in the air for my 40th birthday, and it turned into one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. Lingering at altitude in a smooth, fixed-wing aircraft with a personable, engaging, and professional pilot was an extraordinary experience. I flew with my best friend and my 2.5-year-old son, who was beyond excited to “go up, up, up and bump the sky!”—pure joy. Seeing Orange County from above lends itself to an entirely new perspective. The rolling green hills, dramatic coastal cliffs, and the teals, blues, and aquamarines of the Pacific stretching along the shoreline were absolutely stunning. From Newport Harbor and Balboa Island to Laguna Beach and Dana Point, every moment felt special. Joy Air made the experience feel personal, warm, and celebratory. I can’t imagine a better way to mark a milestone or simply reconnect with the beauty of our coast. Highly recommend—10/10.
There is no better way to experience the Newport, Laguna Beach area than this tour!! Our pilot Bruce was a true professional in every way. He shared his deep knowledge of the area, history, geography and so much more. He even spotted a pod of no less than 300 dolphin and circled around them giving us an amazing view. It was a truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.
Wesley facilitated an amazing flight experience for us! I was a little nervous to fly in such a small plane, but Wesley was calm and reassuring the entire flight. It was so neat to see all of Orange County from the air. Truly magnificent. Love Joy Air! I would go again in a heartbeat!
