This tour is a MUST do in Santorini, we visited in July as a family and had the most amazing day with Dimitris. He spent the entire day with us, showing us his love and passion for the island. Thanos are guide was amazing. He took us to the busy touristy area first that's along the coast and where you a dropped off from the cable car. Beautiful area but so busy! Then to his hometown Megalochori where he grew up. That was much less touristy and gave you a sense what real island life is like. Then a quick stop to get some local homemade bakery treats before we went to Red Beach and then the black sand beach where we had the best meal of the trip at Forty One beach side restaurant. Don't hesitant to book a private 6 hour tour and ask for Thanos to be your guide, he is the 9th generation of his family that has lived on the island. You will not be dissapointed!

Thanos was an excellent driver and guide. He put together a tour of the most popular sites in Santorini but added a small village as other unique stops (i.e a wonderful Greek bakery that put most bakery’s found in the states to shame). He shared with us the culture of the local residents. We were a group of six that included four adults (60-78) and two teenagers (14 and 18) He was able to keep all of us entertained. If you are planning on a cruise that stops in Santorini I would highly recommending booking a tour with this company and ask for Thanos
