Privat heldagstur: The Gate of Heaven and East Bali Trip er en af de mest populære turpakker til at besøge interessante steder i den østlige del af Bali. Turen starter fra dit hotel, hvorefter vi kører dig til Lempuyang-templet, som er mere populært hos The Gate of Heaven. Så er den næste destination at besøge Tirta Gangga Water Garden, haverne i dette Bali vandpalads viser en unik blanding af balinesisk og kinesisk arkitektur. Lempuyang tempel eller The Gate of Heaven Bali er det højeste tempel på Bali, hvor du vil se den berømte Gate of Heaven overse til Agung vulkanen den største vulkan på Bali. Tirta Gangga Water Palace er en af de mest populære Bali seværdigheder, der blev designet og bygget i 1948 af Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966), som var den sidste konge i Karangasem. Han var en bemærkelsesværdig mand for at sige mildt, ikke kun fordi han var arkitekten i vandhave, men også fordi han hjalp med opførelsen af haverne.

Virgin Beach strækker sig i ca. 700 meter omkring en attraktiv turkisbue, der er overspændt med klippeklipper og omkranser med tropisk skov. Det ikke-så-hvide sand er fint og knirkende og en glæde at gå på. Ud til havet, på den sydlige ende af stranden, sidder Pulau Kuan hvallignende i horisonten. Der har været en god udvikling her gennem årene, men Virgin Beach har ikke mistet sin charme - hvad der engang var en virkelig jomfruelig strand nu, er hjemsted for en lille landsby med strandvarungs, hver med en flok liggestole og parasoller at lokke dig til at blive hængende - men hvem har brug for lokke? Med frisk fisk og kold øl er den eneste vanskelighed at vælge, hvilken.
Tenganan Village er en af de mest berømte Bali seværdigheder i nordvest for Candidasa og ligger ca. 5 km fra hovedvejen. Tenganan er en symmetrisk udlejet Bali Aga landsby med en murede huse og unikke håndværk. Bali Aga var den oprindelige indbygger i Bali, før ankomsten af hinduistiske javanesere. Tenganan bevarer sin gamle pre-hinduiske skikke gennem en stærk kodeks for ikke-broderskab med udenforstående, yderligere håndhævet af beskyttelsen af de omgivende vægge.

We did a tour of East Bali for a full day with driver Raj. It was a wonderful experience. We visited first a traditional Balinese village in the jungle, then headed to the waterpalace. Afterwards we visited the Gate to the Heaven, visited a Coffee plantation before heading to Virgin Beach. On all the points we had sufficient time to visit and enjoy ! Raj gave us a good explanation on all the sites we visited and managed the fast and efficiënt entry to all the sites. He drives you very safely through the hectic traffic in Bali. We had a wonderful time with our guide Raj.

It is a tour that, leaving from Ubud, will effectively take all day, so, have all the patience, but it is worth it; at the gates of heaven they assign you a number, we waited two and a half hours for the photo, but the key is to accept other photos that they take you to 5 minutes from there that are really worth taking, excellent photographers and excellent landscapes, when you return to the iconic spot it will be your turn. The beach is really quiet, fine sand, it's worth it.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at the gates of heaven tour! Our guide, Aldo was very kind and knowledgeable about the surrounding locations and gave us some brief history lessons during our 2h drive up from Sanur. The views at all locations were immaculate, but at the gates in particular, there will be people trying to sell you on other views that are around the main photo op. The event staff use your personal cellphone to take the photos, so if you're looking to take the best possible photos or videos, I would highly recommend bringing a solid camera.
