Al Alam Palace "Palace of the Flag" er et palads beliggende i Old Muscat, Oman. Det blev brugt som et ceremonielt palads af sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. En af monarkens seks sultanboliger har en historie på over 200 år og blev bygget under overvågning af Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, den syvende direkte bedstefar til Sultan Qaboos.
Al Jalali Fort, eller Ash Sharqiya Fort, er et fort i havnen i Old Muscat, Oman. Fortet blev bygget af portugiserne under Filip I af Portugal i 1580'erne for at beskytte havnen, efter at Muscat to gange var blevet plyndret af osmanniske styrker. Det faldt til omanske styrker i 1650. Under borgerkrigene mellem 1718 og 1747 blev fortet to gange erobret af persere, der var blevet inviteret til at hjælpe en af de rivaliserende imamer. Fortet blev senere omfattende genopbygget.
Fort Al-Mirani er et fort, oprindeligt bygget af portugiserne, i havnen i byen Old Muscat, Oman.
Muttrah Fort er et historisk fort i wilayat Muttrah i Muscat. Fortet ligger på en dominerende position på bakkerne med udsigt over den naturlige havn i Muttrah, hvilket ville have gjort det til en ganske uindtagelig position at forsvare Muttrah mod angreb og samtidig tillade observation af det omkringliggende territorium fra dets vagttårne.
Muttrah Souk er den næste, hvor du kan finde forskellige souvenirs og Muttrah Souk en af de ældste markedspladser i Oman, der går to hundrede år tilbage

Excellent whistle stop tour alloeing us to see many of the major tourist attractions in an afternoon. Our guide Jihad gave a great running commentary throughout with super knowledge of the cities history and answered all our searching questions. Highly recommend this actovity.

The tour was very well organized and truly interesting. Our guide Ali did an excellent work! In couple of hours he showed us so many nice places and talked about the history and present time of Muscat and Oman. He also provided us with local food and drinks! Absolutely recommended!

Amazing half-day afternoon tour of Muscat with our tour guide, Waleed. We visited the Royal Opera House Muscat, the Mutra Souq, the Sultan’s palace, the Grand Mosque as well as a wonderful scenic view of Muscat at night. Waleed was friendly and informative and was happy to make the afternoon and night a very comfortable and memorable experience. We definitely recommend this tour, especially if you are short on time. The photos don’t do Muscat justice but it’s definitely worth a place on your bucket list.

We were accompanied by Khalid Al Siyabi, who is the most fantastic tour guide possible ! He complied with our specific requests and even deviated slightly from the scheduled route to accommodate us with things we wanted to see. He is super interesting, knows the history of the country and city, and kept us fascinated with facts about every location and historical events. He is highly recommended !

Khalil was on time and very accommodating to our group of 4. He tailored the afternoon to what we wanted to see and do and even helped with some Souq bargaining for us. Great knowledge of the country and the city history and places!
