Privat halvdag gåtur - vandretur Prag

Mike met us at our Airbnb. We had a fantastic tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and a very interesting guy. It was great having a private tour as we were able to go at our own pace, ask lots of questions and stop for a coffee when we needed to ! Thanks Mike for such a great introduction to a wonderful city. We absolutely recommend this tour.

My kids and I were on time at the meeting place as stated in the ticket but then I got a call from the tour operator to let us know that our guide was waiting for us in a different location.We were not explained why. 20 minutes later, Judit showed up. She was very nice and apologetic She asked us what did we want to see but when I mentioned the Jewish quarter, she said not possible because she could not be our guide inside the cemetery Then she took us through different streets and buildings through the old and new town. Unfortunately, she spoke very broken English and we could not follow the descriptions or explanations on most of the sites. We also found a four hour walking tour too long- perhaps three hours would have been enough for this kind of tour.

I did a private tour about six years ago during a work trip to Prague. I wanted to repeat the experience for my wife and kids. This tour met the mark. We spend three hours in the old town area. My kids loved it and I learned a lot despite having spent quite a lot of time in this city since my first trip.

After traveling for several weeks and experiencing large tour groups, my husband and I were looking for something more relaxed and personal on our first day in Prague. Martin was exactly what we were hoping for. He met us outside our AirBnB and spent the next four hours showing us around this beautiful city. It gave us the confidence to explore on our own afterward. Spending time with Martin was like being with a good friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, and came away felling much more comfortable with the city.

We did invest quite some time in searching for the right solution for our family (2 adults, 15-year old boy with big culture and high interest in history, and 12-year old girl with very different interests, still "little"), but it was worth the effort as Martin (Private Tours Prague) was the perfect match to our needs! The possibility to have a guide "all for yourself" offering a custom-sized tour for a affordable amount of money is absolutely great! We had been in Prague since a couple of days already and then toured with Martin for 3 hours to visit those places we wished to know more about, things about which our two guide books couldn't satisfy us. Martin is "easy" and relaxed, patient and adapting to any request, very well informed both from a historical as a social and cultural point of view on his city, is open and shares some private stories which enrich and make unforgettable the "feeling" we got with Prague. We absolutely warmly recommend!!

My daughter and I did a private tour with Martin. He took us around the city and told us so much history of what we were seeing. Not only that, he asked us questions about what some things were like in the States vs. the Czech Republic, as he told us that he visited the states a few times near where we live and we compared notes. We did the tour with him early in the week and it was great because we referenced things that he said as we went around on our own later in the week. So many times we caught ourselves saying "remember how Martin said...". He gave us great tips on the better shops to visit as they were sold the REAL Czech items, not the fake stuff in the more touristy areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jana was the most wonderful local guide! The pace was perfect. We saw all the major sites in Prague, shopped, and had a delicious traditional Czech lunch. She was prompt, friendly, and helpful. She met me at an agreed upon location and coordinated with my driver to meet when we were done. As a single woman traveling alone, I felt safe. I had a great day with her in Prague!

We just did our tour with Martin and Yana (I’m sorry if the spelling is totally wrong) and they were absolutely wonderful! It was a great way to get an overview of the major things to see in the city. They were knowledgeable and patient as we peeked inside random little shops and catered to our family with young children. They met us right outside of our Airbnb and started the tour right from there. It was tailored to our needs and what we wanted to see. Martin also gave us amazing suggestions for places to eat while we’re here! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and you can’t beat the price, especially compared to what some of the other tours I was looking at cost. It was also so great to be on our private tour as we passed massive tour groups that were just trying to keep up so that they could hear their guides.

This tour was great. Lots of history and beautiful sights. We learnt alot about Prague. Loved the Prague Castle area, amazing Catholic church, walking over Charles Bridge and Old Town. For us the tour could of ended there as it was a super hot day and had already walked for 3 hours taking in so much history and knowledge from our wonderful guide Martina (hope I have spelt right). We were exhausted. This was also near the end of a 7 country visit with tours everyday... I would highly recommend this private tour as many other tours we saw had very large numbers and definitely not personalised.
