A Sucre, The Forge of Vulcan, Fountain of Glory and Grace.
Derefter besøger Tower Morisca kendt som det offentlige klokketårn. Vi går langs Malecon 2000, og vi kan se de fire elementers tårne. Vi ankommer derefter til monumentet over de 2 befriere: Simon Bolivar og San Martin.

Guayaquil's Historic Park is a destination that combines history, culture, and nature, making it an ideal place to visit. The experience is enriching and exciting. A place worth visiting. The living history of Guayaquil. The park is a cultural treasure of the city. A destination you can't miss
This tour is a MUST DO if you care about ecology amd want to know more about plants, insects, and animals in Ecuador and how they create a sustainable biosphere. Our guide and teacher, Eddie, brings incredible knowledge and passion about Ecuadorian ecology to life. I learned more about symbiosis, even in my own country, than all the botany courses had taught me.
hello! We're thrilled to hear that you found our tour a must-do for those interested in sustainability and Ecuadorian ecology. Eddie's passion and knowledge truly make the experience unforgettable. If you ever wish to explore further, feel free to reach out to us.
The guide was able to tie together, the history and the natural features of Guayaquil. He was even able to highlight some of the birds we saw which was a plus for me as I am a birder. We spent four plus hours wicih gives a quick overview. Some of the areas would justify more time. like the old town below santa ana hill. I am not sure the historical park is a must. It is partly a zoo which I personally did not enjoy but it does have a couple of interesting houses and some interseting plantings.
Hi Benjamin! We are glad to hear you had a good time with us. We hope to see you again soon!
This tour was a great experience. We learned so much from our guide, and I regret that I cannot remember his name. After visiting the grand park with him, I would definitely stay in that part of the city should I ever find myself is Guyaquil again.
Jamie is a GREAT tour guide. The City and Historical Park tour was fantastic. First, we went to the Malecón. I had walked along it the previous day; so, we went in the opposite direction. Jaime is well versed in the history of Guayaquil. After a superb time walking upstream of the river into an old colonial part of the city, we went to the Historical Park. That too was superb. Throughout the entire tour, we moved basically at my pace, with me taking a lot of pictures everywhere we went. A tour that was supposed to be 3 hours turned into about 4.5 hours. Jaime never seemed to be in a rush to get me back to the hotel. As I said, GREAT tour guide. I recommend him very strongly.
It is worth getting out of the chaos of Guayaquil, crossing into Samborondón, and visiting this island, where in addition to the residential neighborhoods of well-to-do people, condominiums where retired foreigners live and modern shopping centers, is the Historical Park, which is a kind of recreation of Guayaquil from a century ago. In the park you can see the typical vegetation of the area, where the mangroves stand out, with their biodiversity. There are also cocoa and banana plants, crops widely present in the surroundings of Guayaquil, some animals and birds of the landscape, and, somewhat unmissable, some constructions of the Foundation Guayaquil, which were moved to this park for conservation, and that allow to appreciate how the city worked and people lived in those times. The place is quiet and allows to escape the noise of the city.
I had booked this tour with Ecuador Tours and Packages in advance of our planned arrival on board the Island Princess. Approximately 70 hours prior to our scheduled arrival, we were told that the ship would not be able to get into the port. I sent an e-mail to Ecuador Tours explaining the circumstances. They refunded all of my money. Thank you to them.

I don't remember the name of our guide. He was an older man who use to be a pilot. He took us to a new apt. complex which was pretty but who cared. The Parc was lovely and we enjoyed that but there was no city tour. We asked to go to the cemetery since it seemed we weren't going to do anything else.

We received a five hour tour for our scheduled three hour tour and our guide was knowledgeable and enthused. It was a most pleasant overview of the city.

Ricardo gave us a most excellent tour of the city, shared many stories of old Guayaquil! We enjoy history and thus we loved hearing about this. We were very comfortable in the air-conditioned van in between stops. The Parque Historico was a beautifully done park with lots to see, animals, the historical buildings and plants, fauna. It was a great 1/2 day tour we really enjoyed!
