Privat Funchal City Tour af Tukxi

We were able to get our bearings in the lovely city Pedro was a good guide and driver. He even took us to a wine shop to get wine on the way home!

Four of us really enjoyed this tour! It was 1-1/2 hours, which was the perfect amount of time to ride around in the Tuk-Tuk and see a good portion of Funchal City. Our guide was very nice! We made a quick stop at the local market with some time to peruse the vendors. We also saw a couple of churches, some scenic viewpoints and even had a short amount of time to shop. The guide was easy to understand, too and picked up/dropped off right at our cruise ship.

Danielle gave us a nice overview of this beautiful city. A fun and easy way to see the highlights. If you are looking for detailed culture and history commentary, you may wish to choose another option. But for a short, personal way to get an overview, this was great.

Tiago was a welcoming and engaging local guide who enthusiastically shared his vast knowledge of Madeira. He tailored the tour to our interests and skillfully navigated Funchal’s steep and windy roads. I highly recommend Tukxi and Tiago!

Excellent way to see Funchal. Thiago our quite was knowledgeable and very entertaining. I had read some reviews on some Tuk Tuks struggling with the hills around Funchal, but this was electric so wasn't a problem at all. Well worth the trip

We had one day in Funchal during our cruise and selected the Customized 3, 4 or 6-hour tour. We chose four hours to give us some additional time in the city. An excellent choice. Our guide Francisco met us at the cruise terminal as planned and we had a discussion about a few places we wanted to visit. He customized the tour so we took in our requests and much more. Francisco is an excellent guide who is a true local from Madeira. Amazingly knowledgeable and very able to pass on his knowledge of Funchal and area. Our tour took us to Cabo Girão sky walk where we enjoyed a stunning vista of the island. I am a fan of urban street art and was quite pleased to see the Lobo-marhino wall installation at Baía de Câmara de Lobos and the Mero along the water near the CR7 museum by the artist Bordallo II. We made a number of stops and were always relaxed for time to take in the local area. Only one day available in Funchal. This was the way to spend it with the expertise and fantastic hosing by Francisco

What a fabulous way to experience beautiful Funchal. Our driver John was so helpful and friendly and took us to so many sights most tourists wouldn't see. He dropped us off at a great little bar to sample the local cuisine. The communication with the company was excellent. Highly recommend.

In just 3 hours we leant so much about the city and saw some amazing sights. Margarida was a superb guide. Her passion for Funchal and Madeira absolutely shone through and we loved hearing all about her city. We came into Madeira on a cruise ship with a limited time in the city and this was such a great way to see it. Thank you Margarida for an amazing tour.
