Privat en times Harry Potter-vandretur
Beskrivelse
Tag med os på en privat tur gennem Edinburghs historiske gamle bydel. Vi vil undersøge, hvor J. K. Rowling fik sin inspiration til sit globale fænomen Harry Potter. Vi begynder på den berømte Royal Mile og i skyggen af Edinburgh Castle. Dernæst vil vi vandre ned ad Edinburghs "Diagon Alley" og derefter gå ind på en rigtig kirkegård for at se graven "han, der ikke må hedde". Vi vil også lære om cafeerne, hvor hun sad og skrev begyndelsen af bogen, og hvor hun sluttede i luksusrigerne. Efter at have opnået en grad i Tourism Management i Edinburgh og efter at have arbejdet meget i den skotske turistindustri føler jeg, at jeg har passionen til at vise dig rundt. Jeg specialiserede mit sidste års speciale afhandling om fænomenet Harry Potter og hvordan det relaterer til skotsk turisme. Alle ture er små gruppestørrelser. Ikke mere end 10 personer pr. gruppe.

Vi passerer gennem Greyfriars Kirkyard og finder gravstener af figurer i Harry Potter-serien. (Hvem må ikke navngives ..) Vi finder også "Hogwarts School" i troldmænd fra inde i kirkegården.
Berømt gade i den gamle by i Edinburgh med masser af rig historie, historier og 1 Potter-forbindelse.
Vi står uden for det historiske Writer's Museum og besøger Makars gårdhave.
Vi væver ind og ud af den mest berømte gade i Edinburgh. Vi går gennem det øverste område af Royal Mile, inklusive Lawnmarket og Castlehill.

This Harry Potter walking tour in Edinburgh was one of the highlights of our trip! The tour was full of fascinating stories, fun facts, and hidden gems related to the Harry Potter universe and J.K. Rowling’s inspirations. Our guide was truly exceptional – knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and very engaging. She made the experience fun for everyone, whether you’re a Potterhead or just curious. Her passion for both Harry Potter and Edinburgh’s history was obvious, and she brought the magic to life with humor and energy. We visited places like the graveyard with names that inspired characters, the café where Rowling used to write, and many other magical spots around the city. It felt like walking through pages of the books! Highly recommended for any Harry Potter fan visiting Edinburgh , and a big thank you to our wonderful guide , Kat ,for making it so special!! The tour also addresses to people who love history.

Kat is a wonderful guide, she is very knowledgeable about the history of Edinburgh and about how Harry Potter relates. We enjoyed our time with her so much and my kids were absolutely mesmerized by everything of she showed us. We would highly recommend this tour and Kat. 5 plus stars!
Best value ever! Best 1hr of Potter info and fun I had all trip. Tip this woman well!! The Cemetary was my favorite as well as touring “the real” Diagon Alley!
Kat was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable. She always ensured we were okay; she knew a lot about the folklore of Edinburgh, and she even had wands in her bag so we could take pictures with different characters' wands if we wanted. I'm super happy of my experience with her.
