If you’re looking for a boat charter to experience the Amalfi Coast, we cannot recommend Capri Dream Charter enough! From our first email, requesting information, Hannah was so responsive and answered all the questions we had! From the very beginning, Lorenzo our Captain, was incredible. The weather the day before looked like our trip might not happen, but he kept us completely informed every step of the way and let us know as soon as the conditions calmed enough for us to safely go out. The entire day was relaxing, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Lorenzo was so knowledgeable about Italy and the Amalfi Coast, sharing history, stories, and local insight that made the experience even more special. He also took us to an amazing restaurant (IL Cantuccio) on Nerano for lunch that we never would have found on our own. To top it all off, after he dropped us back off, we realized we had accidentally left a pair of shoes on the boat. Even though he was already a couple of hours away, he and Hannah made the trip back to return them to us. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness says everything about the kind of people they are! Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish — we would 100% recommend Capri Dream Charter to anyone visiting the area! We can’t wait to visit again one day! ❤️
This private boat tour was truly the best moment of our trip to Italy and a remarkable experience for our family. We were a group of six people, including three family members over 80 years old, so comfort, safety, patience, and flexibility were extremely important for us. Lorenzo piloting the boat, and Hannah our host, were simply exceptional. More than just a beautiful boat tour this became a very special family memory. The boat was excellent, brand new and comfortable, and the views of Capri were amazing, but what really made the difference was the way Lorenzo and Hannah treated us with genuine kindness, professionalism, and warmth. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and caring with my entire family. They adjusted the tour perfectly to what our group needed, helped us with every detail, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe throughout the day. This trip exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Amalfitan coast, Capri (Sorrento), especially families looking for something private, personalized, and unforgettable.
Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. The driver arrived late and, upon pulling up to the dock, did not greet us—simply asking, “Are you [name]?” He provided no overview or plan for the day and spent the majority of the trip texting and listening to voice messages on his phone. While we did pass through some grottos, there was no commentary or explanation about where we were or what we were seeing (thank goodness for Google Maps). There was also no opportunity to swim, as he didn’t stop on the other side of Capri where other boats had anchored. Instead, he chose a “shortcut” across the channel, which was extremely rough, seemingly to save 15–20 minutes of travel time. The amenities advertised—snacks and drinks—were not provided. Upon arriving in Capri, the driver contacted Lorenzo and suggested we take the ferry back, which was not part of the original plan. When I spoke with Lorenzo, his explanation differed completely from what the driver had told us. Although a discount was offered to cover the cost of the ferry, the total time on the water was only about 2.5 hours, rather than the 6–7 hours that had been advertised. We paid €1,000 for the trip, were refunded €100 for the ferry, and received an additional €100 only after I explained that the first reduction was not a true discount but reimbursement for the ferry expense. Overall, the experience fell well short of what was promised. We spent 6 days on the coast, hoping that this would be the best experience, however it was the worst. I am quite familiar with boats and the sea - it wasn't the conditions of the ocean that ruined the boat trip, it was the service and lack of due care for his passengers. Book elsewhere.
Dear April, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, although we’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We would like to clarify a few important points: Our skipper was present and on time at the agreed meeting location. Unfortunately, we did not receive any answer to the phone message made to assist you upon arrival. As for the route taken, there are no such things as “shortcuts” around the island. The itinerary followed was the standard and safest one. Any suggestion to the contrary reflects a misunderstanding of the geography and maritime practices in the area. We’d also like to clarify that our skipper speaks fluent English and always provides clear guidance and communication throughout the tour. There is absolutely no need for guests to use Google Maps for orientation. Additionally, after a phone conversation with the owner, Lorenzo, it was agreed that, due to deteriorating weather conditions, it would not be safe to return aboard a 6-meter open boat without a cabin. For your safety and comfort, you disembarked in Capri and returned via ferry. We fully reimbursed the ferry ticket and, as a gesture of goodwill, issued an additional €100 partial refund, since the tour ended slightly earlier than planned. While we regret that the tour did not meet your personal expectations, we stand firmly behind the professionalism of our crew and the service we provided, which prioritized both your experience and your safety.
If you are looking for the best private boat experience on the Almafi coast at the most reasonable price, this is it! I spent hours searching and comparing companies and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. The boat day exceeded all our expectations - the boat itself is perfect, very clean, under cabin for storage and toliet and huge deck for relaxing and drinking prosecco. Our captain, Lorenzo was exceptional, taking pictures for us, serving us food and drink and taking us into the small caves for great photo ops. He even arranged a beautiful lunch for us in capri with an incredible view and food. If I could give this experience more than five stars I would!

We booked Capri Dream Charters for an all-day private boat trip from Positano to Capri. Hannah was incredibly responsive, polite, and helpful as I figured out booking via email, and then WhatsApp as the trip approached, and I felt confident that everything would go smoothly, and it did! We met at the pickup point no problem, and our captain, Lorenzo, was fabulous. Very capable, but relaxed and attentive. We customized the whole day to what we wanted, and he was always paying attention, making sure to offer us drinks and snacks and even slowing the boat a bit when we were pouring another glass! The boat was modern, clean and beautiful. This was the best day of our trip and I would not hesitate to book them again!

My husband and I had the best time on our private boat tour from Positano to Capri! From the beginning when I reached out to book, they were extremely responsive, answered all questions, and were very easy to work with. Our captain Roberto picked us up right on time and took us through many caves and grottos and showed us really cool landmarks and areas around Capri. He took us to amazing spots to swim and he even served us prosecco and appetizers. He was able to make us a reservation at a beautiful restaurant in Capri, he organized the entire thing for us while we were on the boat. Overall 10/10 experience. I would recommend this to friends and family and would definitely book again if ever back in Positano!

Beautiful day with the skipper Giuseppe, he made us feel at home. Fortunately it was sunny all day and he took us to the most beautiful coves of Capri to take a bath in the magnificent water of the island. I highly recommend
My friends and I had the best time boating around Capri with this company! Our captain was so welcoming and was able to customize the day to exactly what our group was looking for. We boated all around the island and got to get out and swim wherever and whenever we wanted. We were completely on our own schedule, which is something you could never get in a group tour! We were brought to this amazing restaurant on Capri that you could only access by boat. It was the best Spaghetti alla Nerano we ever had! This experience was the highlight our trip and I highly recommend it to everyone visiting!!
