La Fornace er en af de mindste vingårde i Montalcino; en mor, far og søn står for produktionen (Rosso, Brunello...)! Du vil have en chance for at besøge deres kældre og overvære produktionen af Blazon Wine. Her får du et glimt af, hvad der sker, når kvaliteten overtager kvantiteten!
Montalcino er en juvel af kunst og historie nedsænket i bakkerne i Val d’Orcia. Denne middelalderlige by afslører straks for besøgende sin gamle militære struktur, krydset som det er af smalle og stejle gader, der tilbyder ekstraordinær udsigt. Montalcino er også kendt som landsbyen Brunello. Her vil vi have lidt tid til at besøge middelalderbyen.
Med besøget i middelalderbyen Montalcino vil vi stoppe til frokost i en af de mest veloplagrede vinbutikker i byen "Enoteca Grotta del Brunello" frokost vil blive ledsaget af dit valg af mange Brunello etiketter. Frokost er ikke inkluderet.
Hvis vejret tillader det, vil vi kunne besøge en fæstning, der nu er blevet en smuk vinbutik. La Fortezza er et symbolsk referencepunkt for kvalitetsvinelskere og for dem, der ønsker at vide mere om den fascinerende verden af Montalcino og dets Brunello! Beliggende præcis inde i den gamle fæstning Montalcino, det er et center for kultur og tilbyder en vidunderlig udsigt over Val d'Orcia. We had an amazing experience on this private Brunello wine tour from Florence! Alessandro was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Tuscany and its wine culture. The wineries were authentic and beautiful, and the scenery throughout the day was absolutely stunning. Everything was perfectly organized, relaxed, and personalized. We learned so much, tasted incredible wines, and discovered parts of Tuscany we never would have found on our own. A true highlight of our trip to Italy — highly recommended! 🍷🇮🇹
Alessandro was above amazing. There is no rating high enough to express what a wonderful experience he gave. Plus his knowledge of Florence and Tuscany was incredible. We would request him in the future for any tours in Florence.

This is the second summer we have worked with Alessandro for our adventures across Tuscany, including Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montalcino and more. He is absolutely amazing! From pre-planning to daily excursions and changing schedules on the fly, he always delivers. Alessandro’s knowledge of the region, history, wine and food is simply unmatched! We wouldn’t dream of working with anyone else!
Thank you Alessandro you made my husband a very happy person. Alessandro very communicative and friendly he built our program step by step and managed to organize the perfect day! We spent a whole day tasting Brunello in beautiful places for my husband's birthday. It was the best day spent in our 10 days in Italy. I recommend Alessandro without a doubt!!!!
We returned to Italy after a few years, we spent a whole week in Florence, we visited the Valdorcia and tasted the famous Brunello wine with Alessandro who made us discover secluded corners not beaten by mass tourism, such as the beautiful village of Monticchiello!! The wineries were family-run with an incredible mood, nothing touristy but original as per our request.. Alessandro proved to be an excellent guide and explained to us many things about Brunello and not only.. I could only recommend Alessandro as your choice if you want to taste Brunello.
Alessandro put together a full day private tour for 4 of us, he also chose a perfect restaurant for lunch, the vineyards in Montalcino were fabulous and we found some delicious wines to have sent home to enjoy once we get back! Do not hesitate to book your tour with him!
I would have rated higher than 5 if it was possible. Alessandro simply went above and beyond what you would expect from the moment he picked up our family of six at our apartment in central Florence. We went on two fabulous full day tours. His knowledge of Tuscany and the history is impressive and well explained. His tours were well thought out and easy going. He has been welcoming people from around the world for a long time. His mastery of the English language is phenomenal. We had an incredible day with Alessandro! He made sure we had everything we needed & customized the whole experience based on what we were looking for! He also had a wealth of information to share about the regions we visited! The wineries were amazing and held a lot of charm & quality!
We had the most amazing time on this tour. Alessandro was easy to work with leading up to the day of the tour. We were picked up at our lodging right on time. Transportation was in a roomy and comfortable van. We visited a beautiful family run winery in Montalcino, some of the best wine of our entire trip, but the family producing the wine was the our favorite part. We wouldn’t have found this place on our own. Next Alessandro took us to an amazing restaurant in a small village for lunch. Delicious. Again a place we would have never found on our own. Finally we went to Montepulciano to explore the city and visit two ancient wine cellars. We highly recommend Alessandro. His knowledge of wine and the history of the area was profound. He is just a friendly, fun, and engaging person. 10/10.
