Phong Nha-hulen er ikke kun en naturlig arv af verden. Det står også som et relikssystem af det historiske Ho Chi Minh-spor, som i løbet af den amerikanske krig fungerede som et hemmeligt skjulested for flydende broer, der kun blev bragt om natten for at undgå målrettede bombinger. Disse broer var nøglekomponenter i forsyningskæden fra nord til syd ved at tillade forsyningsvogne at krydse floderne. Det tjente også engang som et hospital, med våben installeret ved indgangen. Når dens placering blev opdaget, blev den stærkt bombet, hvilket resulterede i den ydre ardannelse, du ser i dag. Der er en række hvide krystal stalaktitter (kalkstenaflejringer), der minder om naturlige søjler og mange andre spektakulære formationer. Dark Cave er en eventyrlig og actionfyldt oplevelse. At besøge denne hul omfatter inkl. Lynliner over en turkis flod, der svømmer ind i hulens hul (indbefattet redningsveste), gå gennem mørket med kun hovedbrænderen på din minedriftshjelme for at belyse vejen, have en mudderkamp i det flydende mudder bades dybt i hulen, vasker rent med en svømmetur i søen inde i hulen, så kajak tilbage over floden for at teste din styrke på den hængende forhindringsbane og åbne zipliner.

We just have a wonderful Phong Nha cave private tour with Phong Nha Discovery and would like to recommend its services to people who has a similar need. Our tour was a whole day tour with visits to the Dark Cave and the Phong Nha Cave, plus a provided lunch break in between. Our young tour guide, Andy Bui, is excellent. We were extremely happy with his service and dedication; therefore we highly recommend this company and Andy to the public!

This trip was fantastic start to finish! Tuyen aka “Chocolate”, our tour guide, was so knowledge and friendly. She took the time to chat with each couple, took some amazing photos for us and arranged our next tour! Quoc was a great and safe driver. We unfortunately ended up with a flat tire and there was a new van ready to pick up our group in under 10minutes. The restaurant was delicious and accommodated all diets. The caves were STUNNING! This tour is a must!!!

Amazing tour with Victor who is an experienced guide and very nice person. His English is very good and he explains lot of interesting things about the Vietnamese culture and about the local area. Terrific day with our guide Victor, great sense of humour. The caves were amazing, an absolute highlight. We had read reviews advising no shoes in the Dark Cave was an issue, but we didn't have a problem. Enjoy!

We went to Paradise cave and the Dark Cave. The Dark Cave was absolutely fantastic. Lots of fun to be had spelunking, swimming and ziplining. Our guide, Victor, was an absolute legend. 100% recommend! The food was surprisingly good as well!

We visited Dark Cave and Paradise Cave with our guide Victor. Victor picked us up on time from our hotel in Dong Hoi and we made our way to Phong Nha. We first visited Paradise cave which was very interesting. We then headed off for a great lunch before making our way to dark cave. The only negative was that they do not highlight that max weight to zip line is 90kg. The tour of dark cave was great fun and very unique. Would highly recommend
