Privat afgangstransfer til Vancouver Lufthavn (YVR)

I received several email and text requests for more information; number of people and number of bags. I responded each time. I heard nothing back after my last response. That left me a bit uneasy so on the morning of my ride to the airport I sent a text to confirm arrival time. I got a text back that I would have to up grade to a van because I had two suit cases and two carryons and two personal items. Two of us. I did not see this text until the next time I spoke to them at 5 min before my departure time. I was rudely informed that since I didn’t provide the information required I would not get a car that day. I had prepaid to Viator $64 for Carmel Car service. I ended up taking a taxi for $31. I would not recommend Carmel car. I used them previously with no problems but was exceedingly disappointed this time. Now I need to go through the process of getting a refund from Viator. I have always been satisfied with their customer service and their taking care of things. Should not have to deal with this on vacation. Carmel Car is US and Canada. I will never use them again. I am finding that on site Taxis are readily available and less expensive.

Avoid at all costs. Its a bait and switch. We told them (and confirmed separately) how many we were and how many bags we had. They sent an inadequate car instead. Because we would have been late we smashed in with luggage on our legs. Terrible service.

Well satisfied with making the arrangements for a 5am pickup. Newton Whalley's driver provided a smooth ride for 4 of us, bags and all.

The booking experience was seamless and the communications from Viator were frequent, especially as we got closer to pick up. I was surprised when a yellow taxi arrived at our hotel in Vancouver rather than the van I booked. The driver was lovely and was able to get our bags into his vehicle. The ride to the airport went well.

The driver was quite late with no warning or notification. He was in quite a hurry especially while driving despite there being no traffic to deal with. He showed up in a random unassociated compact cab. The operator who answered the phone was less than fully helpful.

Early morning transportation to airport. Our driver was friendly and right on time and got us safely to our destination.

The driver did not arrive until well after 3/4 of an hour. We had to take another tax to the airport or miss our flight. This is extremely poor service and we still have not been compensated for the fee we paid to Viator and the fee we paid for the taxi that took us to the airport. We will not book through Viator again.

Great value and excellent service. Easy to arrange, driver was on time and transported us to the airport safely and in good time.

We typically use Viator for all of all transfer needs. This time, we decided to book a tour in Vancouver, Canada. Unfortunately, my husband became ill and we weren’t able to take the tour. I went online and cancelled and they were able to pick us up and bring us to the airport. I have referred them to family members and friends. I will continue to use them in the future.

Our driver was on time & professional. He made sure we got to the correct departure area so all we had to do was walk in & book in.
