We took a private taxi with our driver " Rosa" from the port bus to Loro Parque. Unfortunately P&O did not appear to offer a trip to Loro Parque (44 euros per adult entry) so this was the only easy option. We had almost 4 hours there, but tbh could have done with longer, as each show took up about 30mins of our time. The parque was well organised and we enjoyed the shows. Rosa made the trip quite straightforward and met us back in the car park. She dropped us back at the ship, which saved the agro of getting the shuttle bus back too. Taxi fare 120€ so not a cheap trip all in all, but preferable to hanging about in Santa Cruz!! Xx

picked up by our guide and driver, very fluent in English, we were put at ease and driven to the top of the hill, to various gardens, we walked a great deal 12000 steps, but we said we preferred walking where possible. the driver would meet us at exist and we would visit another interesting point. we finish at the market that was one of our highlight.

We visited Santiago de Teide, Masca, Buenavista, Garachico with a great tour guide and got to see some of the typical villages of Tenerife
