Great 2 day escape to the Mekong Delta. Loved the mix of activities. The first day with rowing under the trees and trying all the local fruits was relax. The second day was also interesting, seeing the traditional brick kilns was a unique experience I didn't expect. Everything was well organized, the car was comfortable, and the food was delicious. Thanks Ginkgo for a memorable trip
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear you had a great trip with us. Hope to see you again on another journey!
a wonderful trip to southern vietnam very authentic, I enjoyed the friendly feeling of the people in the countryside. we went to see the coconut workshop and made snacks from rice, really nice. Then I was taken by rowing boat, the air was very cool and fresh, went to see the fruit garden and ate chom chom, the first time I ate it, sweet and delicious, love it. Finally we went to see the brick kiln, the kilns are still firing and very hot, I really enjoyed this peaceful trip, it felt like refreshing myself
Thank you for your detailed review, and we're so glad you enjoyed it and felt refreshed. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip.
a wonderful trip to southern vietnam I felt this trip was very authentic, very local and I enjoyed the friendly feeling of the people in the countryside. First we went to see the family run workshop, they created products from coconut and made snacks from rice, really nice then I was taken by rowing boat, the air was very cool and fresh, went to see the fruit garden and ate chom chom, the first time I ate it, sweet and delicious, love it. Finally we went to see the brick kiln, this is also a factory that the family runs themselves, the kilns are still firing and very hot, I like to go see their finished ceramic and brick products, they display a lot, from newly formed products to finished fired products. It was wonderful, I really enjoyed this peaceful trip, it felt like refreshing myself
Dear Kieu O, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you felt the trip was authentic and truly local, and that you enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere of the countryside. It’s lovely to know the family-run workshops, peaceful rowing boat ride, fresh air, and tasting chom chom in the fruit garden all left a strong impression. We’re happy the journey felt refreshing and relaxing for you, and we truly appreciate your kind words.
Authentic and peaceful 2-day Mekong adventure Such a wonderful and peaceful experience exploring mekong we visited Kai Be, paddled a small boat while watching little fish swimming below us, saw how coconut candy and popped rice are made, and tasted fresh tropical fruits right in the orchard. Lunch was delicious — Vietnamese food truly blew my mind. In the afternoon, we cruised to Vinh Long saw how traditional ceramics are made. Day 2 we visit Cantho, so vibrant and fun! We also enjoyed a short bike ride along quiet countryside paths, walked through a peaceful village filled with fruit orchards, and visited a local pagoda before heading back to Saigon after lunch. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the real Mekong Delta at a slower, more meaningful pace.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the authentic pace of life in the Mekong Delta — from paddling through calm waters and tasting tropical fruits in the orchard to discovering local crafts in Vinh Long and Can Tho. It sounds like you truly soaked in the beauty and rhythm of the region — and we’re thrilled the Vietnamese food left such an impression too! Your words mean a lot to our team and our guides. We hope to welcome you back for more meaningful trips soon
We did the 2-day Mekong Delta tour and loved every minute. The boat rides and biking through the countryside were beautiful and relaxing. Our guide handled everything, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The hotel in Can Tho was really nice too. Great way to see the real Delta life and try amazing local food. Highly recommend!

The tour was fantastic with the best guide, Jimmy was so friendly and knowledgable. It was really well paced, it felt like we saw and did a lot but it wasn’t rushed or too much. The honesty was absolutely beautiful with such friendly hosts and cooking with them was fantastic. I can’t recommend this tour enough, worth every penny!

We had a fantastic couple of days here. The trip was well organised, good communication and a good pace and mix of things to do. The home stay was welcoming, comfortable and elegant and the food exceptionally. Jimmy our guide made the trip. He was friendly and informative and so generous with his time and openness. We have to say many thanks to Jason from the Ginkgo Tours. We were lucky to have quasi a private Mekong Delta tour for two days, because the team of Ginkgo is strive to do tours with small size of tourist far away from the mainstream. Jason is a very friendly guide, who is open to explain you all also more questions about the culture, food and nature. We got nice experience about the culture life and food. And the team were open to be flexible. Also the driver was realy polite and took care of us in the for us chaotic traffic. Many thanks for the tour and nice experience! Stephanie & Co
I read lots of reviews before booking and saw people complaining about the activities. But you get what you pay for, and of course it’s touristy. We loved our tour, and yes, you were pushed through the coconut candy factory, but that’s to be expected. It was still interesting, and our guide Lam, was great! She had lots to tell us but also knew when to leave us to ourselves. I imagined the floating market differently, but that’s my own problem. Cycling through the village was fun, and so was the boat tour. It was a packed tour, but great!
