Easy to use a virtual ticket for entrance. It would have been helpful to include an audio guide device. We paid an extra 8 euros for each device but it was helpful to have it to appreciate the purpose and features of the Castelo.

Definitely would have been better with the (optional, 8€/ person) audio guide. There was still a line to wait in - though short, since it was so hot out - even with this ticket. Great communication with the tour company, too - tickets arrived the night before via WeChat and email.

Ticket arrived 1 minute before the reservation time, risking the purchase of other tickets on-site. Tried to contact them in the previous days without a response. Called on the same day without a response. Also called by Viator's customer service without receiving a response. Paid for the audio guide that was not provided, being told that we had to buy it separately from the staff at Castel Sant'Angelo. Two stars only because in the end we were able to access.

Tickets were online and easy to access. Activity close to the Vatican so worked well after work. However, this site has minimal to see other than some good views of the city.

In general our experience was good. The Castel San Angelo is beautiful. A good point to keep in mind is that the ticket has an hour but don’t be panic if you don’t arrive on time, you still go to go.

Easy process. Tickets were sent to me via WhatsApp the night before and I was able to download and walk straight in. The price is more than buying directly from the provider, but we weren’t sure when we wanted to go. So this price gave some flexibility two days beforehand. Castel Sant Angelo is cool history. But the views are the real attraction. Best views in Rome. Best skyline photos we took and that was worth the money.

Got tickets via whatsapp, super. No queue, keep going. We walked the route without audio. Is perfectly doable. The running direction is well indicated.
