A great day, lovely lunch, plenty to do , wine tasting, cheese and chocolate tasting, a lot of fun, well organised

Our wine, chocolate and food tour was absolutely great!! The people giving the tours and wine tastings were very knowledgeable and polite! Steve our tour guide/driver was extremely polite, knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and was helpful in every way possible!! My wife and I booked this tour in a way to join the tour in. Newcastle not in Sydney and we were met at our pick up location right on schedule and Steve made sure to help arrange our pick up in a timely manner to get back to our ship on time. Thank you so much Steve!!

Picked up from our private accommodation which was wonderful. Headed to first winery and told nothing more than just to be back at a certain time by the driver which was an odd way to start the tour. Went to Irongate winery first which was a wonderful experience and tasting. We went to a very quick gin/vodka/liqueur tasting next which personally I wouldn't do again as I'm not a spirit drinker and with the wine it wasn't a good mix. Stopped next at lunch which was okay, but the wine tasting at this venue was less than desirable. In a clinical industrial kitchen setting and told very little about the wines, not even what vineyard they were from. Cheese tasting included but random cheeses such as labneh and feta given in plastic cups and served on a wooden board covered in a paper serviette. Was a bit tacky and in comparison to the really professional and detailed explanation/tasting at Irongate it was a bit of a lowlight and definitely wouldn't do the tour again just based on this stop. For our final destination we went to polkobin estate for chocolate and wine tasting. Again, setting much nicer and choc very yummy. Wines were ok. No explanation about the wines themselves but just sit at tables with a laminated paper that had explanations and they came to pour the wine. But at least the ambience and setting in their sitting area was very nice. Overall, it was good value for money as lunch and a drink was included, and we went to three wine tastings and the spirit tasting. However I probably wouldn't recommend the tour to others. Wasn't blown away by any of the wines and the second stop really tainted the experience.

Stefan was a great tour leader. Good group of people on tour with us Aussies from Sweden, Germany, California & Chile! Cheese tasting was great, chocolates were delicious. Markets at Sobels Winery were fun! We weren't fussed on the vodka/gin distillery, though it was fun to try.

Ronnie our tour guide/driver made the experience very enjoyable. All wineries were different to the mainstream and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend it

When I booked this tour, it was promoted as a Carbon neutral vehicle with emission offsets / luxury Mercedez Benz vehicle With half the number of guests on the bus. We were picked up late with the driver stating there were several resorts with the same name which there in fact aren't only to return their for lunch, I suspect the driver was not that experienced. False promotion of the tour does not encourage people to tell others of the day.

Fun and exciting! Everyone was really friendly and it was an overall really great trip. We particularly enjoyed the chocolate and wine pairing.

The experience of the tour was great it was the miscommunication with viator that was horrible. Apparently there was no pickup available from our location never should have been offered per vendor! Vendor paid for our uber ride to a meeting spot & we paid the return to our hotel. We would like to request a refund of uber ride. Please contact me so I can send over uber receipt.

We had very generous pours from the winery’s. The chocolate and cheese pairings were great. The specific winery tour guides were very knowledgeable too. Unfortunately we did not get to go to one of the wineries listed (De Iuliis) I am not sure why this was. This was listed on the itinerary and we were looking forward to this place. We were not told why we didn’t go here. The driver is a driver only - no extra information provided about the area. He seemed to always be in a rush and was happy that he was getting an “early mark”. A great small group however and you can easily get to know people. In comparison to other winery tours we’ve done it is average for its price.

Wonderful driver and host friendly knowledgeable. Fantastic wine and distillery visits. Definitely worth it a great day out
