Great experience! Knowledgeable guide who has quality horses. Very scenic trail on black sand beach and ride past wine grapes. You are offered a glass of his homemade wine after ride. Wonderful experience!

Terrible experience. The manager was rude to us during the entire ride and treated the horses harshly. My boyfriend’s horse was even injured on its back legs, which was shocking to see. The activity was nothing like what was advertised: we only rode for 1 hour instead of 2, and the photos provided were poor quality, badly framed, and completely unusable. To make matters worse, my boyfriend’s watch went missing “as if by magic” during the ride. When we asked for help, the manager refused to take any responsibility. In short: disrespectful staff, animal mistreatment, misleading service, and zero security for personal belongings. Avoid at all costs!

The owner was very nice. He gave us grapes from is garden after the ride. The beach was beautiful. His horses are well loved

Went here today with my wife, she's a rider but I am not. We had an amazing time, the owner is really good at what he does and the horses are amazing, they follow his queues wether you can ride or not so your always safe. We did gallop which I thought was really fun but if your not very stable id ask to avoid that bit 🤣 Ignore any negative reviews, we took a rental car there and had no issues with parking or the dirt roads. Yes its off the trail and there isn't a proper car park but it doesnt matter, just leave it round the corner lol. Really good experience and would 100% do it again 👌 He showed us around all the horses and where they live which is a nice touch so we could see theyre kept and fed properly also.

It was an interesting experience. It was really dusty, and I think that bothered my horse, but that was nobody’s fault. It was a great experience!

My wife spent the ride hitched to the owners horse while the rest of us rode on our own. So her leg got soaked by the other horse urinating. The place is a dump and the owner is a little off. He doesn't communicate well and he's frankly too old for this business. The access to the location is tough. Our little rental car barely made it out. Deep sand and hills. Nowhere to park or even turn around. This isn't premium anything. It's an old dude running horses out of his back yard.

What a dream! If you want an authentic, non-touristy experience this is the place to go. Vaggehis was so kind and patient with us (since we aren’t the most seasoned horse riders). My sister and I showed up and he took a phone on his horse to make sure he could take videos and photos throughout the ride. He made sure our bags were locked in a safe as well so everything was secure while we were out. We then did a wonderful ride with just me, my sister, and him on the beach and trails up the beach. The horses were so well trained and happy to follow the leader. After the ride he treated us to some of his homemade wine and sat and chatted with us for a bit about our lives. Truly a wonderful night, one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Definitely recommend <3

Fantastic experience, I was lucky enough to have the sunset slot all to myself for the horse ride. I was given a lovely calm 12 year old horse called Laura and she clearly enjoys the route and going down to the sea. There are 25 horses so none of them are working all the time and they are very well taken care of. The owner is passionate about horses and takes great care of them and talks to them as he gets them sorted. There’s a little foal right now too! The route is along quiet paths down to the beach and a small church. The wine afterwards is home made from the barrels on the farm and is delicious - it will knock your socks off! Do take the time to relax and enjoy it. Whilst I awaited my taxi the owner sat and chatted and I really enjoyed this time, he’s lived an interesting life and lights up when he talks about the horses, and it’s clear he loves sharing his love of horses and wants everyone to have a special, memorable experience - you’ll feel like a guest, not just another tourist. Highly recommend!

Horseback riding on the black beaches of Santorini was a once in a lifetime experience. The owner is kind and gracious, sharing his love of his horses and his land. They were very patient and accommodated every level of rider paying particular attention to those less experienced and making sure they were safe and comfortable. The wine at the end was a bonus-excellent. Definitely recommend this to everyone - great way to get off the beaten path and do something more unique.

So much fun… got to take the horses on the beach and the guides were more than accommodating for photos. Would do this again next time I’m back on the island.
