På vej til nationalparken vil du passere byen Decin med det store slot stående højt over Elbe-floden på en klippeklip. Historisk Decin by hedder også "indgangen til det bøhmiske Schweiz".
Turen tager dig til det mest ikoniske højdepunkt i det tjekkiske Schweiz NP - Pravcicka Gate-stenbuen.
Som en belønning for din indsats for at nå Pravcicka-porten byder dette ikoniske vartegn dig velkommen indhyllet i et snedække, der minder om et eventyrland. Nå fantastiske udsigtspunkter, slentre rundt i unikke sandstensformationer og drage fordel af ingen menneskemængder på dette berømte natursted i vintersæsonen.
Næste stop er en velsmagende à la carte-frokost i en lokal restaurant "U Forta", beliggende i hjertet af den bøhmiske Schweiz National Park, Tjekkiet. Du kan få noget fra menuen, en hovedret og en drink. Store vegetariske og veganske muligheder er inkluderet. Restauranten er et fremragende foodie valg og mange rejsende bedømmer det bedre end nogle Prag restauranter. Lokalt udkast til øl Cvikov er et glimrende valg.
På vej til Bastei-broen kører du gennem den lokale spa-by Bad Schandau med sin historiske plads og kan gamle tømmerhuse. En virkelig lokal by typisk for området.
Nu er det tid til at krydse grænsen til den tyske side - Nationalparken Saxon Switzerland og gå mod Bastei, en ikonisk klippeformation, middelalderfæstning og en stenbro højt over floden Elben. En let gåtur vil tage dig til de vigtigste udsigtspunkter med udsigt over den dybeste kløft i verden - Elben-kløften med en baggrund af taffelbjerge dækket af sne. Hvis du er heldig, kan du med godt vejr endda fange nogle smukke solnedgange sidst på dagen.
Vi ankommer typisk tilbage til Prag mellem kl. til 19.00, afhængig af turens tempo. Vi bringer dig sikkert tilbage til dit overnatningssted i Prag efter en spændende dag fuld af naturens bedste natur.

We had a great time with Ondrej. He was through when explaining everything we were seeing and also added in relevant history. We never felt rushed and he always offered to take pictures, which was very much appreciated! I also really enjoyed our lunch. Delicious!

Martin did an incredible job on this tour! We were picked up promptly at our hotel and the drive to the Pravcicka Gate felt short since Martin drove us by the beautiful Elba River and he told us so much about the Czech Republic's history. Probably learned as much about the country's history and culture from him as we did on both of our two walking tours this weekend combined. On the trails, Martin kept up a good pace and kept the group together, and brought us to two of the most beautiful and unique places in the area, the Pravcicka Gate and Bastei Bridge. We had time to take lots of photos at both sites and enjoy the gorgeous views. Also did some birdwatching and learned more about the animals in the area from Martin. Everything was taken care of ahead of time, and the tour even included a great lunch between stops. Overall, a great experience I would definitely recommend!

I can't recommend this tour enough! We had an excellent day out with fellow travellers and our tour guide, Lenka, who was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable that she made it the perfect day. We were very lucky to have sunshine and snow on the ground, which was magical, as if we had arrived in Narnia itself! The lunch was also excellent, as were the mulled wine/tea and snacks provided. It was also so convenient to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We loved it and highly recommend it!

We enjoyed this day in the open air. Beautiful sun, pristine snow and magnificent scenery. Lunch was very good and the little snack enjoyed. I recommend.

We booked this tour through Viator. Our guide, Martin was absolutely amazing! It was one of the best adventures we’ve been on. Northern Hikes is the best! Wish I could give them more stars. We were picked up promptly at our hotel, given a lovely snack bag, driven to the sites, and provided plenty of time to take pics and enjoy the stunning views! Highly recommend!
