Jan was very knowledgeable and we entertained us with stories of Pragues history and idiosyncrasies.

It was just us that morning, so our guide Allen gave us a much more intimate and in depth experience than we thought we'd get because we had so much time to ask specific questions and learn about him as he learned about us and we learned about the city! He judged our pace well and set our expectations on when we'd hit each landmark, and gave us fun stories from history (especially where he felt that urban legends and rumors were way off), including for easy to miss things like decorations in sidewalks and walls, and what was likely a more grounded, somber view of the state of the Jewish Quarter prior to and after it opened up than what brochures are likely to go into. After we were done, he had time to spend with us at lunch, which let us get even more great info about other parts of the city to visit, such as the Strahov Monastery, and dining and entertainment options. We specifically asked about a good place for duck, and his suggestion of Hostinec na Vytoni was a hit with the family. We weren't able to make it out to the club Jazz Dock during our trip, but we saw it later on a boat cruise and it looked as great on the inside as he had described it. Fantastic experience with Allen all around, thank you!

We ended up on a private tour with Kristof as we were the only members of the group however it was great and made it a personalized experience. We have been on numerous tours with the headphones and the large groups and felt lost along the way. Having a much smaller group made the experience more tight knit and felt you learned much more.

We really enjoyed our tour with Magdalena. She is a passionate and knowledgeable guide who made the experience both engaging and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the time she took to explain how the Astronomical Clock works. Her explanation was clear, fascinating, and helped us better understand this remarkable landmark. It was a wonderful tour, and we highly recommend it.
