Enjoyable tour. It was a really good experience to have the pictures explained to us in such an informative and enjoyable way. Sara was an excellent guide.
We did not receive any communication from the tour operator before the tour as I was used to with other tours. We were 20 minutes late as we had trouble getting a wheelchair Uber. The tour had already left and we were told there was nothing they could do. We couldn’t even get the tickets just to go inside so I was out 250 Euro. I did not see any communication that this could be a possibility but I did not read the fine print. They rescheduled us for what I thought they said was a 30 Euro fee but when we arrived it was 30 Euro per person, I assume for the new tickets. My nephew and I did the tour and the guide was very good. My kids were cranky at this point so they went out on their own with my wife. The meeting point is across the plaza from the museum so make sure you get that restaurant early in order to not lose out on your tickets.

I was overall very disappointed with this experience and probably would’ve been better off just buying a ticket myself. Our guide, Guia, was not very welcoming (at least to me, and I happened to be the only Black person in the group) and he was very boring and not engaging. His background information about the art felt very disjointed, and it was hard to follow. At the end of the tour, I asked him what his name was and he replied back aggressively, “why?!” I’m highly disappointed I had to pay for this, and I want my money back. I would not recommend especially if the tour guide is Guia, shorter slim guy with glasses who wears a ponytail.
The tickets you receive are for the tour that meets across the street from the museum. They start the tour, promptly, don’t be late.

Maria was a wonderful guide. Although we got a late start, waiting for the group to gather and such, she gave us our full time in the museum and even some extra time. She presented a cohesive flow to the order of works she chose to discuss. We touch on many famous works of art and she gave thorough explanations of the history, the artists, and the paintings.

Though the tour started a little chaotically because the headsets were malfunctioning, María was a great knowledgeable guide who showed us the masterpieces of the Prado.
