Derefter rejser vi til det storslåede udsigtspunkt Cabo Girão, 580m højt og med en glasbalkon, berømt for at være den højeste i Europa og den næsthøjeste klippe i verden.
På rejse langs øens kyst ankommer vi hurtigt til landsbyen Ribeira Brava, hvor vi kan besøge en kirke fra det 15. århundrede.
Derefter tager vi til Encumeada-udsigtspunktet, 1007m højt, for at nyde smukke landskaber med udsigt over øens nord- og sydkyst og også dalene Ribeira Brava og São Vicente.
Stop til frokost og ekstra tid i kystbyen Porto Moniz - hjemsted for de største naturlige vulkanske pools på Madeira. På vores nedstigning mod byen kan vi nyde en fantastisk udsigt, især de vulkanske bassiner i deres helhed. I godt vejr er det muligt at tage en dukkert, så kom forberedt.
Derefter gør vi et kort stop med udsigt over den sorte sandstrand og de naturlige bassiner i landsbyen Seixal.Undervejs har vi fornøjelsen af at komme forbi adskillige vandfald, nemlig det berømte og fantastiske Véu da Noiva vandfald. Når du ser på vandet, der strømmer ned ad bjerget, kan du se, hvordan klippefladen er blevet skåret skulptør af vind og regn gennem millioner af år for at danne, hvad der kun kan beskrives som den perfekte kunstform.
Dernæst besøger vi den maleriske nabolandsby São Vicente, hvor du kan besøge en smuk kirke fra det 17. århundrede, inden du går tilbage til Funchal.
Beliggende 5 km fra byen Funchal, er vores første stop den maleriske og berømte fiskerlandsby Câmara de Lobos; et yndet Winston Churchill-malersted!

Despite the cloudy weather in Porto Moniz, we had a lovely experience with our tour guide Paolo. He was very informative and his driving skills were top notch! Would highly recommend, thank you !!
Extremely good, No hard selling or tipping request. Explained well. No stopping at shop or time wasting
It started out to be what could’ve been a 5 star but ornatos attitude took a little attitude the second half . I understand we had to wait for people that didn’t make it back in time and that is very try annoying for all of us . It happened at 3 stops and 2 or the 3 was the same person so this is not his fault . We also saw and accident which caused a few mins delay and people driving rental cars also caused issues but he became frustrated. Other than you need more time at the pools if you want to go in and eat . We had to choose so that was a little disappointing. Overall it was a good tour .

Absolutely fantastic . 23 gr in the water in November. Possibility of shower in the beginning of the facility near the restaurant. All for free. Cool with all the waves outside and quite calm between the lava rocks.
We hired a car and drove to this western point of Maderia. Very windy roads but easy to drive on. Parking is not free but plenty of it. Lots of cafe/eating places. A bit commercialised. The natural rock swimming pools were amazing but it was a red flag day for wind so not for me. However people did go in. Would recommend water shoes. Believe there are.lockers but most people just left bags by the rocks. Free to access and take photos.
Excellent tour. Guide very knowledgeable. Porto Moniz highly recommend swimming. Lots of stops at interesting places. Great day out.
they say its Natural Swimming Pools but its been all modernised for tourists .Which i can understand. However the other side of Bay are Natural Pools and they are so much better
Amazing tour and amazing host saw so much and the places were amazing. Plenty of time to explore each place and all very friendly
