Daniela was OUTSTANDING! She was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw anything we specifically asked for. We didn’t waste time waiting in lines and learned as much as we could in our 3 hours with her. She didn’t rush us when we wanted to take photos and made sure to get a few of us as well. I would highly recommend Daniela for your tour (and book the 3 hours!).
We had a fantastic tour of Pompeii with Daniela and would highly recommend her, especially for families! We were travelling with our three kids (10, 12 and 15), and Daniela did an amazing job of tailoring the tour to keep them (and us) interested and engaged. She knew what stories and details would grab their attention and made Pompeii come alive for them rather than just feeling like a long history lesson. She was also incredibly thoughtful about the summer heat, finding shade whenever possible, giving us opportunities to take breaks, and planning our route so that everyone stayed comfortable. She knew the site extremely well and was great at navigating the bigger crowds. That turned out to be especially valuable when we arrived. There were multiple cruise ships in port and a HUGE line of people waiting to enter Pompeii. Thanks to Daniela, we were able to completely bypass it and get right into the site — which alone probably saved us a ton of time standing around in the heat. Daniela was knowledgeable, friendly, great with the kids. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone visiting Pompeii. Having a private guide was absolutely worth the money and made our visit so much better than it would have been on our own.

We had an amazing experience touring Pompeii with Silvia! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of the site. She brought Pompeii to life by sharing fascinating stories and details that we definitely would have missed exploring on our own. Silvia was also very personable and made the tour feel relaxed, engaging, and enjoyable from start to finish. You could really tell how much she loves what she does, and her enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. If you’re visiting Pompeii, I highly recommend booking a tour with Silvia. The length of this tour was perfect for our group. I traveled to Italy with my mom and grandma and we were all very happy with our experience at Pompeii. The crowds were large but our guide, Carmine sure to navigate around them and provided extensive knowledge on each of the sites. He was also happy to take photos for us which was greatly appreciated.
The tour with Silvia was bespoke to us, there was only myself and my partner and she was very attentive. she is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about her tours and this was evident throughout , we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Alona was fantastic! Very knowledgeable & really catered to our 10Y daughter. Only feedback: Alona spoke a little fast at times. Overall a spectacular experience.
Daniela guided me through Pompeii yesterday and she was the highlight of my day. She knows the site inside out, and more importantly, she knows how to tell its story. Instead of reciting dates at me, she brought the streets and the houses and the people back to life. She was patient with every question, easy to follow, and she paced the whole thing perfectly. If you’re going to Pompeii, don’t wander it alone. Ask for Daniela. Grazie mille!
